"y-yah," taeyong's voice cracked a little, "park miyoung--is that really you?"

the woman before him slowly tore the papers away from concealing her face. he stopped breathing for a second, it was her, it was definitely her.

"h-how have you been?" talks of the lawsuit went out the window as a flood of emotions coursed through taeyong. it had been way too long, he needed to talk to her, catch up, anything to spend some time with the beautiful woman he was still in love with.

"c-can we talk about this some other time, i'm on a busy schedule--i have other people to meet after you taeyong-ssi." taeyong scoffed at her professionalism.

"cancel all of them." he proclaimed, "i'm not leaving until you tell me everything--don't leave out any details."

"but why--"

"do you have any idea how long i've looked for you?" he felt his voice beginning to crack and the painful five years, knowing that he was the one that got her exiled to the americas. "i've been looking for you for over five years, i've had people all over the world trying to track you down."

he ran a frustrated hand through his now, unruly hair. "and what a coincidence it is, i find you on my own..."

miyoung felt a tear drip down her cheek but she quickly wiped it away to regain her composure. "i-i don't know what to say taeyong-ah."

he smiled a little, knowing that he had broken her down just enough to get past the stupid formalities. 

"look, how about we head out to dinner and we can catch up?" taeyong pulled out a business card a grabbed a pen from her desk to write down his personal phone number. "i'll be waiting for you..."

taeyong quickly left after that, his heart beating a hundred miles a minute. but he couldn't quite help the blush and smile forming upon his face.

miyoung picked up taeyong's card and found herself smiling absentmindedly. 

maybe things do work out in the end, because it worked out perfectly for lee taeyong and park miyoung.
