Also, this is the chapter where [Y/N] has the special dinner and has some bonding with Kai an maybe some brother-sister fluff. It might be short, but I will update again soon. Haha, on with the story, kits!)
I set the last bowl on the table as my mother and uncle sat down. Chopsticks and bowls were on the table, everything was in order, and, we were ready for Kai to come home.
My head shot up as I heard the door slowly open. "I'm home!" I heard his voice yell.
"Kai!" I ran and jumpe on him, nearly knocking him over. "I'm a ninja now!" I pointed to the [blue/black/red] headband on my [insert body part]. "A ninja!"
He laughed. "Thats my sis," he said, but then his face suddenly darkened and his voice became serious under the bandages that cover his face.
"What is it?" I slowly got off him. My face showed concern and fear. My mother and uncle were watching intently from the dinner table, hoping Kai was alright.
"Did... Did anyone..." He started. Everyone held their breath.
. . . . . . . . .
"Try anything with you?!" He finished. My mother sighed as my uncle chuckled and I facepalmed.
"No. You satisfied?" He nodded and sat down at the table, his face suddenly brighter than a Christmas tree. Bipolar much?
"Food!" He yelled childishly. "Who made this?"
I gestured towards myself. "And that would be the beautiful and talented little sister such as myself."
"Beautiful and talented is right." He then pulled off his mask and began to eat with everyone else.
Kai was alright with taking off his mask in front of his family when there were no visitors around. He reminded me of his friend, Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi always covered 99.99 percent of his face, too. They were 'twinsies' as girls would say when they have the same outfit or hairstyle. (A/N: HAHA autocorrect changed twinsies into twin dies)

We had finished dinner, and my mom was cleaning the dishes. Uncle was out with some friends. Meanwhile, Kai and I (that rhymes!) were cuddling on the couch. He was reading this book he got from Kakashi called 'Make-Out Paradise' while I just thought about things, like the teams we were going to be put on tomorrow.
"Hey, Kai," I began.
"Yeah?" He closed his book and put it down.
"You're the greatest big bro ever."
He smiled. "And you're the greatest little sis ever," he replied, " because you're all I could ever ask for."
I smiled before I drifted off into dreamland.
Kai's POV I looked at [Y/N]'s sleeping figure. "As I said." I smiled. "All I could ever ask for."
