Allison's POV

The wind's rushing in my ears... then all of the sudden it's not.

It's like something carried me, and set me gently upon the roof again.

ALLISON.

MY DAUGHTER.

I hear a loud, thunderous voice say, as a bright light covers the roof.

I AM YOUR GOD.

I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO YOUR EVERY CRY.

I HAVE SUFFERED ALL OF YOUR SUFFERING.

SHED EVERY TEAR YOU HAVE SHED.

PROTECTED YOU FROM EVERY THREAT.

BUT THIS, MY CHILD, THIS IS ALL PART OF MY PLAN FOR YOU.

"What is it you want from me?" I yell.

"Haven't I suffered enough?!" I crumple on the ground, tears cascading down my cheeks.

"Let me finish this, I WANT to die, I'm DONE!" I keep yelling.

"I can't keep going...." I whisper.

ALLISON, YOUR SUFFERING IS OVER, FOR YOU WILL SUCCEED, YOU WILL NOT DUEL ON YOUR PAST ANY LONGER.

I SAW, HOW EVEN AS YOUR MOTHER BEAT YOU TO THE BRINK OF DEATH, YOU WERE FAITHFUL, YOU FOLLOWED ONE OF MY MOST IMPORTANT COMMANDMENTS, YOU HONORED YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER.

"Father?" I say incredulously.

"My father's dead!" I yell.

HE IS NOT.

FOR I AM YOUR FATHER.

YOUR EARTHLY FATHER IS ALIVE AND WELL.

HE IS STANDING DOWN THERE, IN THE CROWD, ALONG WITH YOUR MOTHER, YOUR REAL MOTHER AND SISTER.

THEY ARE YOUR FAMILY, AND I HAVE BROUGHT THEM TO YOU.

"I have a....a family?" I say, peering over the edge.

I see them. The girl, looking exactly like me, except a little pudgier but still beautiful.

My mom, I guess, is the woman with red hair, in a way statuesque, with beautiful blue eyes.

What catches my attention the most... is the man, standing next to them.

"Dad..." I whisper, recognizing his eyes, the same as mine, but red, puffy, and covered in tears.

As I look back at my sister and mom, I notice their eyes are red, puffy, and full of tears too.

The crowd, I notice, is silent, in complete awe.

GO, BE WITH YOUR FAMILY ALLISON, KEEP ME IN YOUR HEART.

THIS IS YOUR TIME, YOUR TIME TO SPREAD YOUR TESTIMONY, ALONG YOUR SISTER, THROUGHOUT ALL OF THE NATIONS.

I LOVE YOU ALLISON, AS I LOVE ALL OF MY CHILDREN, DO NOT FORGET THAT I AM HERE, AND YOU ARE NEVER ALONE, DON'T FORGET TO SPEAK TO ME, I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE LISTENING.

The voice fades as I get up from my sitting position.

I walk over to the edge and the crowd gasps, as the light fades, revealing me, standing there, unharmed.

"This is my time," I whisper, as I make my way towards the door I barricaded earlier.

I'm not surprised to find all of the things that were barricading the door, gone.

I open the door, and walk down the stairs, ready to meet my new family.
