Ken drove half an hour to the mall and his first stop was at Kay Jewelers. He was praying that Toni was still sleeping not awake, worrying about him.
"Hi, welcome to Kay Jewelers, my name is Ellen, do you need any assistance today?"
"Yes, I need two engagement rings, for my girlfriend. One she's picking and the other one I'll return within an hour or two." Ken explained. Even though, Ellen wasn't allowed to lend a diamond ring to any customers, she did it anyways.
"I'm not allowed to do so, but I'll do it because you're not too harsh. Make sure when you come back with the ring your girlfriend doesn't pick, bring it back to me, immediately." Ellen said. He smiled and thanked her.
"I'll pay for the one she picks. Thanks again, Ellen." Ken said. He drove home and gently opened and closed the front door. He silently enter the bedroom and saw Toni still sleeping. She was snoring, signaling Ken that she's in a major deep sleep. He placed the two rings onto Toni's left hand, on her ring finger.

Ken smiled and left the room, and entered the living room watching a football game. He heard footsteps coming from the staircase and saw Toni with tears down her face.
"I don't know what to say, Ken. How did you? When did you? Where?" Toni asked while covering her face, crying. Ken got down on one knee and spoke to her.
"Toni Michele Braxton, you're a one of a kind woman. A woman who loves her son and myself, unconditionally. You're a beautiful and kind person and I am so willing to share my life with you. You're so selfless and so beautiful who puts her needs aside from other. I want to parent with you and be your best friend. Will you marry me?" Ken asked. Toni nodded her head and smiled.
"Yes!" Toni yelled. Ken stood up and gave her a big kiss and hug. He pulled back and smiled forgetting that she had to pick one ring.
"You've gotta pick one ring, and I return the other one." Ken said. She looked at the rings and was so mesmerized at the details.
"I choose this one." Toni smiled.

He nodded his head and kissed her so many times. "I love you, Toni." Ken said. She smiled and hugged him.
"I love you more." Toni said.
"I'll be right back. I have to return the other ring, you want anything?" Ken asked. Toni smiled and nodded her head.
"I want Evan, go pick him up, please." Toni said. He gave her one more kiss and he left returning to the mall.
