Chapter 4: Maneuvering Training

~After 2 weeks of defensive training with Eren, I been learning his fight style and he hasn't won once, I then decided to fight Mikasa but it was a close fight and I won.~

I got up with Mikasa to go to the women showers. I rubbed the rag over my slightly built muscles, Then over the rest of my body, I raised my head as the water sprinkled from the shower head and was coming down on my face and running down the rest of my body. I put on my uniform, Excited to start the new training session. As I went out to the field, The captain was explaining what we would be doing. We had to train to balance with our maneuvering gears, They had equipment set up to practice with. As I was standing in line waiting for my turn, I saw the other cadets struggling to stay up but just ended up leaning forward or back too far causing them to go upside down. By experiencing what It would be like, I now knew what to do. As my turn was up, I was hooked onto it and was lifted up. I stood still and was calm and didn't move. The other cadets was staring at me amazed that I did show any sign of struggling. Mikasa was on the other side of me, and did the same.

"You go Mikasa!" Eren and Armin said while standing next to her.

I could say I was a bit jealous, I stood there and pouted as they lowered me down. I unhooked myself and walked to the cabin, From being far away from the other cadets, I could see myself being nothing like them.

"Never have your back turned cadet.." I heard a voice behind me say.

I turned around and was punched in the cheek. I fell to ground in pain I then looked up to see who punched me, It was Jean.

"Damn it...That actually hurt...What a surprise." I said surprisingly.

He got pissed and kicked me on the side of my stomach.

"Taking your anger out by beating me up, Tch, What a A__, You only took me by surprise." I said smirking.

He pulled me up by my hair.

"Everyone looks at you like your some girl that's gonna save the world, But deep inside, Your just a low life kid that nobody cares about" He said.

"Well, At least I actually want to save the world, But you on the other hand, Don't care about no one but yourself, And wont even fight for the world even if your precious life depends on it." I said as I spit in his face.

He punched me repeatedly in my face after I did that, I felt blood streaming down my nose and bruises on my head.

"Jean! You B______d! Your going to pay!" I heard a familiar voice say running toward us.

I looked at him as he came closer, It was Eren, Eren then came at Jean with a full on punch. Jean fell to the ground wiping his jaw where Eren hit him at.

"Armin take (Y/N) To the cabin." Eren said to Armin as he was punching Jean.

Armin lifted me up in Bridal style, and I laid my head back, Consuming the pain.

This isn't the only time I been beaten up like this.

---------Flashback-------------

"Why would we want to play with you, girl!?!" The little boy said as he pushed me down.

I sat there in tears...

"Your just some crazy stalker, that looks special because her Dad and brother is in the Scout Regiment, But you stink everyday and wear the same outfit." The other boy said.

They came closer to me and had angry faces.

" I hope you and your family die! You guys are an embarrassment to humanity!" The boy yelled.

'I never knew why they disliked me, Why everyone despised me as I walk down the road with my bare feet...Whats wrong with me?'

I reached my hand out to them and smiled.

"Can I play with you guys?" I asked.

"What did we tell you!" They both said as they kicked and punched me in my face and body, Ruining the only outfit I owned...Only tearing my heart even more.

As they left I got up, and limped home. My mom was looking at me as I got inside the house, She cried as she ran to me, Asking what happened. She was the only one who healed my heart from sadness.

The only thing I could do was say "I love you" to her.

I looked around the house looking at the paint peeling off and nails to connect to broken ledges. Only to see dirt on her face, Everyday she give me a smile, To warm my heart, But deep down she is crying...

So jean is right, I may be a low life, But this Low life just rose up from her grave and is about to show the world what a low life can do..

---------Present time---------

As Armin set me down on my bed, He went to get bandages. He came back and patched me up, and wiped the blood off. I looked him in his eyes...he looked scared...I smiled at him and told him I was okay, It was nothing new. He then kissed my forehead and hugged me, I stood there in shock, Other than my mom nobody did that. He smiled back, And I did the same. Eren came through the door and was angry, I got off the bed and got up to try to walk to him, but my legs let out, Knowing my body was weak by the punches I just took, I fell forward and Eren caught me.

"I'm sorry Eren..." I said as I looked down ashamed.

He hugged me tightly and said "If there is anything you need to tell, I will listen."

I smiled, but didn't say anything.

I don't want to tell you about any nonsense...Atleast that's what other kids say to me.
