Chapter 3 - by Summer

 Ever since they got married it happened ,you are probably  wondering what I'm talking about well let me tell you this crazy, drama filled journey .  It all started when my uncle got married to the girl of his dreams , all of his brothers liked her and so did my mom but the bride didn't feel the same way about my mom . Overtime everyone in the family got married and had kids ,they treated the kids like there own , well some of them did .  My uncles wife despised my mom  with a passion , she would never talk to my mom would always try to talk to her but that didn’t  workout . So my mom got the hint that she didn’t like her , the only time my mom saw her  was at my grandmas , birthday , dinner even then they  never really talked  to each other. One day my  mom  asked her brother

 “ Why doesn’t your wife like me ?” he replied

            “ She does like you .”my mom didn’t believe him so she had to find out by herself .

A couple years later  it was their son’s birthday and he was turning 3 we didn’t get invite because  it was just for the little ones . That same day my mom came to pick us up from school she was also in a rush ,when I got in the car I asked her

 “ Mom why are you in such rush ?” she answered back quickly

“ Because we are going to your cousin’s birthday! “

“ But I thought it was just for the little kids “ I asked her a little confused.

 “ No we got invited.” She replied harshly. I already knew what was going between my mom and her. But when we got the party  and walked in everyone was looking at us liked we killed somebody  . After we went into the backyard we saw all of are cousin and then we saw her. My mom didn’t feel that comfortable around her and her friends so she just stayed by the petting zoo they had in the backyard. It all happened in a blink of an eye she came up to mom and said

“Why didn’t you come earlier? “ 

“ Well because I thought it was just for the little kids, and I'm not gonna bring my kids when they are not little baby's anymore “. Then everything broke loose they  started yelling  and everything got out of hand everyone was looking at them , thank goodness my uncle came  to stop them but unfortunately was wrong  He did not come to help my mom he came to yell at her.

“Come kids it time to go “ my mom told us with anger in her eyes ,  but I knew exactly  why she wanted to leave because her own brother just yelled at her and told her to leave his house . When we got into  the car my mom started to bawl her eyes out   it hurt me to see her cry but she told  me there was nothing to worry about.  While we where driving home silent  filled the car you could hear a pin drop . When we got home she went up to her room and slammed the door shut , my sister an brother were scared out of there minds. Finally my dad came home

 “ Where is your mom ?”   he asked me. I answered

 “ She is upstairs in her room “  so he went upstairs . It was around dinner time and they still didn’t come out I was about to go and call them but  the door opened and my mom came downstairs , I think she told my dad because when he came downstairs he looked that he was ready to kill somebody .  It was not the first time that this ever happened  it still happens this day . But there was nothing I can do about the only thing I can do is just watch  my mom get hurt from her own brother and from his wife, personally I think they should just take one day and all meet up I one room and fix the problem .
