Chapter Six

What an interesting bunch and I trust not a one of them! First off, we were led to believe that our Chosen one would be meeting a few omega like wolves but there is only one that stands before us and Magnus is pissed to his core.

Right now Finis and Nachton are the center of an impenetrable wall that surrounds them both. Magnus is next to his mate as I am next to mine. In front of both Finis and Nachton are Brice and Sim who have formed a protective wall in front of them and standing menacingly tall and deadly are fifty of our fiercest warrior wolves.

Having been forced to spend so much time in Finis' presence I have now become accustomed to his facial expressions for instance, the one he is currently sporting leads me to believe he is scanning every single wolf in front of us to their deepest cores without them being aware of it.

I laugh a little inside knowing that this pack has no real clue what they are truly up against. I hear Finis clear his throat and then kindly walk right through the Beta and Delta wall by pushing them to each side of himself and effectively walking with a single mindedness straight to this very timid and terrified being hiding right behind his father and the alpha of the Brechfa pack, Aeron Brechfa himself.

He stands right in front of him and then proceeds to ignore the alpha as he leans to his left side and says, "What is your name sweet little one?" We can all see this poor little, barely even sixteen year old young man shaking with utter fear.

Finis now walks to the Alphas side effectively causing this poor boy to attempt to crawl inside of his father's body as Finis says, "Please, do not fear me. You and I are in a way the same and as such you are now under my protection."

As the boy looks curiously at Finis his father mistakenly growls out, "My son does not need protection from anyone. He has his entire pack to protect him." Well that tone does not go over well with Magnus and that pretty much sets the rest of the wolves into motion.

Magnus lunges for the alpha as he shifts in mid-air causing every other wolf to shift and take on a battle stance. The Brechfa alpha has also shifted and the scene is quite comical. All of these wolves ready to fight and the only people still in human form are Finis, Nachton, the Brachfa Luna, the young boy and myself.

I don't need to shift to protect me and mine and I am never but a step away from them. I trust in Finis to protect my mate, all of us really so I defer to him. I notice that the only people moving are the ones who are not in wolf form. "By now, alpha Aeron, you must realize what you force me to do." The boy looks over at Finis with a bit of awe and suddenly says in a very mild tone of voice, "Please don't hurt my family. They protect me at all costs and this is just the way they always behave. I am sorry."

"You, little one, have nothing to be sorry about. I am sorry if I startled you as that was not my intent." Finis responds. The young man walks around his father and stands right in front of Finis. Now Fin, he is pretty short but this young teenager makes him look tall. He cannot be more than 5'4" tall and he is so androgynous.

It makes you question his sex as he is as delicate looking as any female and yet you know at a glance that he is indeed a male. He is quite breathtaking. He is literally the poster child for all Omegas. His skin is as pale as Finis and my mate but his hair his of the purest, whitest color making him almost like an albino and looking into his eyes throw you completely off as the intensity in the hue of his emerald orbs is the only color on his body.

For the first time since their arrival, this young man smiles as he says, "My name is Carwyn Brechfa." And he puts his hand out. Finis takes his hand and shakes it as he responds, "My name is Finis and that idiot over there is my mate and the future alpha of my pack, Magnus."

Now the poor boy has lost himself in a fit of giggles. Suddenly the density in the air changes as all of the wolves surrounding us suddenly find themselves in their human form again. Finis walks right up to Alpha Aeron and says, "You know, you have to be pretty damn stupid to come to another packs territory and start a fight. Don't you think you should at least introduce yourself before my mate, my best friend and my Gamma tear you to pieces for disrespecting me?"

The alpha looks down at his son as he says, "You cannot fault a father for wanting to protect his future even at the cost of his own life." "Admirable indeed but right now, the only person safe in your pack is your son." Finis responds. The alpha looks over to Finis and nods his head in acknowledgement and understanding.

"My apologies to you and your mate. My name is Alpha Aeron Brechfa and ofcourse this precious one here is my son, Carwyn and over there by my other side are my wife and Luna Gwyn, my Beta Grigor and my Delta Ifor."

Finis looks over at them and they all bow their heads to him. "Tell me why you are here?" That is when it hits me. They want something because the look on Finis' face tells me he already knows the answer to that question.

Now I go into a protective stance right behind my mate as Magnus does the same right behind Finis. We look over at each other and without a link or spoken words know that if they even breathe wrong, all hell will break loose again and this time I will play my part.

"I will not ask again. Why are you here? I can sense that something is wrong inside all of you and if you make me probe you any deeper than I have to, it will not be pleasant for any of you." A mad Fin is not a good thing as this pack quickly finds out.

Everyone starts to look up into the sky as the almost smoky gray clouds begin to fill it up. Before he can get out of control we all hear, "Please, Chosen One, I will tell you everything you need to know. Please, just protect my baby." This plea comes from the Brefcha Luna.

"Protect him from what?" Fin asks. Then the alpha steps up to Finis and says, "Since you lifted the curse, attempts have been made to kidnap my son and I have come here to implore you to help me keep him safe because if I did not know it before, I now do acknowledge that Carwyn is the Omega of the Brechfa pack."

Finis walks up to alpha Aeron and places his hand over Carwyn's heart and says in this eerie powerful voice, "Fear not for it is my duty to protect your son and Goddess help those who try to fuck with those I deem worthy of my protection!"

With that said, he steps back and says, "Come, you must all be tired and hungry. Let us get you all settled in and then meet in the great hall where the festivities await you. Carwyn come!" He then turns and starts walking away and the rest have no other choice but to follow.

Again I laugh a little inside as I think to myself, Thank Goddess that I am not his enemy!
