Chapter 63

*Still at prom*

Bre's p.o.v.

So Jack and Madison just won prom king and queen and I don't know how to deal with this.I was watching them get their crown and I was on the verge of crying when someone tapped me on the shoulder I looked behind me and saw Skate..

"What the hell are you doing here?"I yelled lounder than the music so he could here me.

"Here to see how your prom is and from what I can tell it seems terrible!"He said looking at Madison and Jack.

"Yea I got that..thanks!"I said getting annoyed with him.

"Are you OK? Do you wanna talk?"He asked.

"I am fine and I don't need to talk to anyone Thanks!"I said walking away to get a drink when Skate grabbed my hand and I flinched.

"Bre you don't have to be scared of me anymore I have been working with a therapist to try and get better and you seem really sad so I wanna help you"He said I was so moved and angry that I just bursted out with tears and cried in his chest.We started walking out of the gym and into the girls bathroom.

"Skate you can't go in there!"I said.

"Its not school so fuck it!"He said I laughed a little than started crying more he picked me up and sat me on the counter.I sat there and looked at my lab and Skate went and got a paper towel, wet it and started wiped my makeup away from my cheeks. I smiled and said

"Thank you..you don't have to do that!"

"Its fine..and I am sure Jack didn't have anything to do with this..he loves you and wouldn't want to hurt you as much as it hurts me to say this you belong to each other."He said looking down.

"Thank you Skate!"I hugged him and we walked out of the bathroom and just hung out in the hallway.

Cameron's p.o.v.

Lilly and I looked at each other while the principal announced that we had to slow dance.We moved to the dance floor and got in position to slow dance.I awkwardly put my arms on her waist and she had a tight grip on my neck.We closed the gap between us and danced.Than she said

"This is weird!"

"Yea but at least we are friends so its not that awkward right?"I asked.

"Yea it just would have been more obvious if I was dancing with Shawn."She said kind of unsure of Shawn.

"Are you and Shawn OK?"I asked.

"Yea we are fine!"She said and I could tell that she wasn't fine.

"OK I know your lying tell me!" I said chuckling.

"Its just that we've been away from each other for awhile so its awkward right now!"She said I didn't want to get all the details but I know she was lying.

"Ok than!" I said.As we were dancing I notice how pretty she was and I shouldn't think of her in that way because she has always been like my little sister.

Jack Gilinsky's p.o.v.

I was shocked as hell when I was coupled with Madison for prom king and queen.While we were dancing I was trying to remember if I told Madison that I would campaign with her.

"So did I ever campaign with you or what like why did we win?"I asked with a mad tone in my voice.

"Well while were dating that's when the prom voting was going on so I told people to vote for us I didnt realize it was a big deal!"She said

"Well Bre and I should have won cause she is my girlfriend!"I snapped.While I was thinking of Bre I looked around to see where she went and I didn't see her in the crowd so I was worried about her.After the danced I quickly got away from Madison and went to go find Bre. I pushed the gym doors opened quickly and looked around quickly to see where she was and I saw her with Skate and they were talking and laughing.I clenched my jaw and my fist and ran to them.

"What the hell are you doing here Skate?"I asked. Bre spoke up and said

"Jack don't even get mad because he was here while you were dancing with Madison...That was suppose to be our slow dance!"She said.

"Bre I didn't have anything to with this so I don't know why you are pissed!"I said.

"Are you fucking serious YOU WERE DANCING with your ex and after all that has happened between us!"She said starting to tear up.

"Bre you know it didn't mean anything so I don't know why you overreacting!"I said.

"You know what fuck off Jack!"She said walking out of the school.

"Well are you gonna go after her?"Skate said.I just stared at him trying to process what was happening.

"Fine...guess I'll have to go!"He said.I was filled with anger and went back into the gym to cool off.

Bre's p.o.v.

I didn't regret saying those things to Jack because he was being an asshole and he didn't realize how hard it was to watch him with her.I quickly walked outside and realized Jack drove me here so I didn't have a ride.I mumbled "shit" under my breath. I looked behind me and for a second I wanted it to be Jack but it was Skate.

"Oh hey could you..bring me home please?"I said wiping my tears away.

"Yea of course here my car is this way!"He said. We walked to his car and he let me in I had a sigh of relief and cooled off a little. When I got home I didn't want to change out of my dress so I just grabbed a bag of goldfish and watched Greys Anatomy. After watching 2episodes I was about to start another when I heard Jack coming in and when he came in he threw his keys on the table and saw me.I turned the TV off and rolled my eyes and started to go to my room.

"BRE WAIT!"He yelled.

"Jack I don't want to hear it...just let me go to sleep!"I said getting angry.He grabbed me and pulled me close to his chest.I pushed his chest away and said

"Jack stop you really pissed me off!"

"No we are talking about this right now...I didn't mean any of those things I said it was just that Skate was there!"He said.I glared at him rolled my eyes and sat down. Jack sat next to me and looked me in the eyes.

"You know l didn't have anything to do with Madison being prom queen and me being prom king and you should know that if I had to pick who to dance with I would pick you every time but its required for us to have a slow dance together at least once and I am really sorry it ended up that way."He said. I gave in to his sweetness and his eyes.I smiled and kissed him on his cheek.

"I know you had no choice I just let jealousy get in the way."I said.

"Well since your still in your dress and I am still in my tux I owe you a dance!"He said.I blushed a little.

"Of course!"I said I grabbed his hand and we danced until we got tired.
