Part 6

I woke up the next morning sore and got dressed. Luckily, today was a Thursday. Just one more day. I walked downstairs and noticed my mom asleep on the couch. I grabbed a blanket and layed it over her and walked outside breathing in the air. I sighed and walked on to school quietly thinking. Last night was terrifying for me. Junior had turned into a wolf like a legit wolf. I rubbed my head starting to get a headache and kept on. I got to school and sat at an empty table eating my breakfast when I felt like I was being watched. Standing up I tossed away my trash and started for the Science and math building when out of nowhere Junior came in front of me. I stepped back cautiously and said in a bit of a whisper "What do you want now?...You made your point alright. I'll stay away." I walked past him quickly and started upstairs and ran into Trey again. I backed away quickly saying "Sorry" and he said "Do you always leave your backpack in the woods when you're out?" I looked at him a bit surprised and said "What do you mean?" in a calm tone.He stepped closer to me saying lowly "Don't play coy with me. You were with them. The wolves last night." I swallowed hard and said trailing off at the end "I..don't..." He slightly pushed me backwards and moved aside as he said "Where do they hide?" I shook my head and started past him and he grabbed my arm. I looked at him and then heard "Handsoff, Trey" I turned my head seeing Micah walking up the stairs. Trey let me go and I backed away behind Micah as he said "Can't you try not to scare the new kids?" Trey snorted and walked off after glancing at me. I looked down then saw Micah turn to face me. "You...you didn't have to...do that. I could've...you know handled it" I said in a small voice. "Sure you could've. Look try not to cause to much attention." "You think I was trying to cause attention? I didn't mean to alright. HE came at ME. It really doesn't matter because I wouldn't have told him anyways." The bell rang and I walked passed him saying "Junior made his point very clear. Your secret is safe with me" I walked to class and sat down at a desk by the window. As class started I went off into my own mind and thrn dozed off. I dreamt of Junior leaping at me in his wolf form and gasped waking up and covered it with a cough. I glanced around and nobody really noticed and I asked to get a  drink of water and the reacher saod yes. I don't know why but I had to get some fresh air. I walked outside and leaned against the building with my eyes shut and shook my head slowly saying to myself "Why me? I just moved here and can't even have a week being normal. I accedently make two of the wrong friends and suddenly can't be around them because their..leader guy...whatever doesn't like me. What did I ever do?" I took in a breath and then opened my eyes again and started to go back inside when I ran into Junior. "Were you talking to yourself?" he asked. I moved passed him quickly ignoring his question and hurried back to class. By the time lunch came around I wasn't really hungry. I sat at a table and took out a pencil and paper and started sketching. When I was done somebody walking by said "Hey that's pretty good" I smirked saying "Thanks" I looked back at the sketch and it was a rose. After a bit the wind started blowing and the sketch blew away. I sighed watching it and the bell rang and I got my stuff heading to third block. I saw Junior and Tyler sitting where I had been and I sat near the front away from them. I laid my head on the desk for a bit before starting to pay attention to the teacher. Suddenly some girl passed me a note. I opened it and read it. She asked what was with me and Junior. Sighing I wrote back telling her it was nothing. I went back to doing my work and when the bell rang I didn't even rush myself getting out. I made it to fourth block and sat at a desk in the middle of the class.
