(A/C) I'M BACKKKKKKKKKK XDXDXD) (E/C) Great.)

Few moments after the 'incident'....

"What the ?@#@$%*!@&%*#@?! did I tell you ?" Kori glared and shook Kyle like a ragdoll as she went on reminding him whatever she warned him about.(E/C) Which she kinda didn't) He was scratching his head and sticking his tongue out :P:P. "Now we just have to hope the elders only suspected that the ball malfunctioned or something. If they don't, you're on your on being a mashed potato explaining yourself." She sighed.

"Well, at least they kinda have bad memory. So maybe they'll forget about it... I hope?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah right, like they're that dumb. Anyways, I heard about a little exploration happening at the nearby dungeon to train the level 3s and above. You going?" Kori told Kyle.

"Nah I'll pass. I'm trying to learn a new spell. Even if I wanted to train anyway, going to that old dude's cave would be a much better choice suited for me. Well how bout' you?" Kyle replied back.

"Yeah I'm not going too. I didn't sense any magical sources that were going to be of use to me going there." Kori reasoned.

"Welp I'm gonna go home now byeeee." Kyle dragged his sentence as he dashed off. On his journey back to his home, Kyle sensed something amiss coming from the horizon.

A few days had passed after the incident, and so then the elders got into thinking that the ball had actually malfunctioned then as a result of its old age. However, it wasn't that much of a big problem as they eventually made the decision to give the children their levels based on the results of their physical test. Sure it was deemed unfair, but they had no choice and had to go with it. Kori and Kyle, having both passed with flying colours, automatically got their place for 4.

A few days later, the 'graduates' were off into the dungeon along with the guidance of the elders. Kyle and Kori at the dungeon's entrance to see the other 3 off.

"You guys are so lucky, having the choice to not come along since your level 4s." May was jealous. "I didn't want to go there too!"

"Now now," Max reassured her. "Maybe this trip will let us be as strong as Kyle and Kori."

And with that, the elders called and they had to go. After the group had ventured far into the high mountains, Kyle asked Kori to assist him in a bigger fire AOE spell and a Better single target spell. "Wait... you just want me to be there just in case you set the forest on fire again, don't you?" Kori glared at him.

"Well...kinda." Kyle replied.

Kori sighed as she then gave in. "Fine, I'll help you." And they both headed towards the forest. Trekking through the forest, they sustained themselves throughout the journey by wild berries and mushrooms.

"Man... I really need meat." Kyle complained.

"You can use your fire powers you idiot!" Kori retorted. They then hunted down a wild boar and roasted it. "This is nice!"

"You have a fair for roasting stuff, you know?" Kori said.

"Haha very funny, Kori."

"Anyways, let's have some fun with our powers, shall we? In addition, it'll benefit us by helping us learn more efficiently too." Kyle suggested. He started off the battle with a flamethrower, he inhaled the surrounding air into his mouth and blew out brilliant flames afterwards, igniting the surrounding air with crimson red, while Kori shot out snowflake shaped shards of cold, blue crystal - clear ice from her hands, making the air around her go still for a second. They were aimed towards Kyle. Resulting in light smoke. The elements had eliminated each other.

After quite some time of battling...

"Haha. That was so much fun!" These woods were the sole place where they could freely unleash their true powers, without having anything interfering them. While Kori aided in helping Kyle practice his spells, she too improved in controlling her powers. As sun was setting behind their backs, it was time to for them return back to the village. They were trailing a long string of dead beasts behind them, which were to be shared with the villagers and contribute to their food source. Day after day, they did they same thing, hoping to improve themselves greatly.

On the day of the return of the exploration group, Kyle and Kori were returning to the village earlier to help in the preparation of a celebration. "Kori!" Kyle shouted to alarm Kori. Out of nowhere, Kyle pushed Kori away from him, while jumping in the opposite direction. An energy projectile was shot at where they were standing earlier and exploded, creating clouds of dust around them. Kyle coughed, he then opened his eyes, to see a middle aged man standing in front of him. What made him shocked though, was the pair of raven black wings that levitated him off of the ground. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Said a deep and calm voice as he looked down as Kyle. "Looks like there's a runt here." He regarded Kyle as if he was a mere insect.

"And may I know who you are?" Kyle stood up calmly.

"I am Enoch, alias 'Dragon Slayer'." The man introduced himself proudly.

"Pretty contradictory, isn't it? For a dragon to have the title of 'Dragon Slayer'." Kyle retorted.

"Not at all, actually. As for the fact that I slay half-bloods. For instance..." Enoch looked at him. "...like you."
