Return of Gandalf

Roland and Aragorn hunted for pippin and merry for days finally they found them safe and sound on the woods of Trees, the woods where the trees ruled. The two hobbits escaped the orcs when the orcs had a battle with an army of men. 'Now we should find the others' Aragorn said as he sat down on the table for dinner 'We should wait for Gandalf' pippin said.

'Gandalf is dead' Roland gasped.

'No, he isn't he has returned and he will come back for us after his return we can look for the others Gandalf will guide us' merry squeaked. Aragorn and Roland thought that the hobbits were having some side effects after they were kidnapped by orcs but they said nothing.

As Emily, Gimli, Legolas and Ellie travelled down the mountain searching for the bank of the river. They were surrounded by hundred armed men on horses. 'Why are we always out numbered' Gimli said in anguish.

'So, what are two ladies along with an elf and a dwarf doing alone in these woods?' The leader of the armed men questioned as he got down from the horse and walked towards Emily.

'One more step and I'd strike you, where you stand' Legolas threatened as he pointed his arrow at him.

'Can't you see, you are out numbered elf' the man chuckled 'He's the prince of Mirkwood, you have no right to talk to him that way' Gimli thundered.

'Kings thranduil son! what business do you have in these woods with a dwarf and these two fair maidens?' the man smirked.

'We are looking for our friends' Emily said in annoyance.

'You don't even look like your from these parts' the man said as the sight of Emily caught him, she was like none other he had ever seen and he walked forward as Legolas arrow fell right below his foot.

'Not a single step forward' Legolas hissed as the armed men took out their swords and pointed towards Gimli and Legolas.

'Let's stop this right here! we are looking for our hobbit friends who got kidnapped by orcs' Emily thundered 'We had a battle with the orcs, we didn't see hobbits' the man replied.

'The elf prince have a keen interested in you don't he? I wanna know why' the man smirked getting more curious about her then in a split second he realised something 'Oh no! It's true your the lady with the ring aren't you?' He questioned.

'Yes, she is' Gimli growled.

'I'm very sorry, my lady. I didn't know.....please forgive me' the man bowed his head in respect 'And I'm sorry, my Lord. I didn't know' he apologized looking at Legolas.

'What didn't you know?' Emily asked.

'I heard the stories about the elf Prince falling for the lady with the ring, the lady who brought riches to our lands but I thought the love story was only a myth but I see it wasn't' he explained politely 'I will take you to our king, he will help you all' the man said as the company moved forward.

'Should we trust them?' Gimli whispered.

'The lady trust them, that means they are trustworthy' Legolas whispered back. As they reached the kingdom they were introduced to the king he was an old man but he was a strong and a capable leader 'My lady' he called as he walked towards her and kissed her hands 'You all are welcome to stay at my place' he welcomed them warmly and joyfully.

He send his warriors to look for their lost friends. The king was very excited to meet the lady in person he kept on talking to her during their whole feast 'and our lord Legolas here is one lucky elf' he laughed as he began to explain the legends of the elf Prince and the lady with the ring.

As they were guided to their rooms Emily questioned Legolas 'after my last visit how many years have passed? And Why is everyone talking about legends and myths, I don't get it'.

'I don't want to shock you my lady but a thousand years have passed since you left' Legolas smiled.

'A thousand! are you serious?' Emily questioned in disbelief unable to process what she have just heard but as she looked at Legolas she could clearly see that he was not joking a thousand year did pass by.

'Yes' he nodded.

'But in my world, it was about two years only' she said in shock.

'Our world differs in everything, including time' Legolas smirked.

'And you have waited for a thousand years?' Emily asked feeling very surprised.

'Yes, I did.....you know I promised you to love you an eternity and more' he smiled.

'Oh Legolas! how lucky I am to have you in my life' she said as they hugged.

'Are we all sharing this room?' Ellie joked.

'No, Legolas and Gimli room is on the next' Emily rolled her eyes.

'You want to chase me away' Legolas smirked.

'Shut up and go to bed Ellie needs me' Emily chuckled as she pushed Legolas towards the door.

'Aren't you going to kiss me goodnight?' Legolas asked as Emily gave him a kiss.

'Okay, love birds save it for tomorrow' Ellie laughed as she got into the bed.

Emily walked up and sat beside Ellie 'Are you okay?' She asked.

'don't know, all I know is I've a quest I am preg and I am in middle-earth' Ellie gasped.

After two days their friends entered the kingdom. 'Merry, pippin, Aragorn, Roland' Emily called in joy and excitement as she ran towards them and hugged them, Gimli and Legolas welcomed their friends.

'Gandalf' Emily called louder as she saw him with tears in her eyes she went and hugged him she couldn't belief Gandalf was there in person, when she thought she lost him forever.

'My lady oh! How I've missed you' he said as he hugged her tight and kissed her forehead.

'Why are you white?' Gimli questioned as everyone began to laugh.

'Where's Ellie?' Roland questioned as there was no sight of her.

'She's asleep' Emily mumbled as they walked towards the bedroom she felt uncomfortable because she knew the time has come for Roland to find out Ellie's pregnancy.

'Roland' Ellie called as she hugged and kissed him.

'thought I'd never see you again' Roland cried.

'I'd give you both some time' Emily said as she walked out towards the hall where everyone was seated and Gandalf was explaining to them how after the fall he was able to come out from the darkness and into the light now he was Gandalf the white. He has the power of Saruman, once Saruman was his master but after Saruman heart fell into darkness Gandalf took his place everyone was very happy to see Gandalf. On the other hand Ellie broke the news of her pregnancy to Roland he was outraged he couldn't belief his ears, he couldn't belief Ellie lied to him all these time. His heart was broken and with tears and anger in his heart he left in anguish.
