Goodbyes

'Did you express how you really feel for the lady?' Thranduil asked. 'I did Ada' Legolas responded. 'And did you ask her hand in marriage?' He questioned. 'I still didn't' Legolas gasped. 'But, I see you gave away your mothers ring' thranduil smirked. 'Yes, I did Ada but this time I'd built up my courage to ask her' Legolas smiled. 'I hope you do before it's too late son, I just came here to congratulate you all after the battle and to say my goodbyes...I've to leave for Mirkwood tonight, I hope you would be back soon but this time with the lady' thranduil smiled.

As Emily and Ellie were eating cake Emily saw thranduil and Legolas in the crowd. 'Please hide me' Emily said hiding behind Gimli. 'Did you see the lady?' Legolas asked Ellie. 'She was here a minute ago' Ellie lied as Legolas looked around he saw Emily behind Gimli. 'What are you doing there?' He asked. 'Nothing, just having cake' she smiled awkwardly. 'Now you better get up, Ada wants to see you' he smiled. 'What? no, after what he have seen its a no!no' Emily said. 'Are you serious?' Legolas laughed.

'I'd carry you to him right now in front of everyone if you don't get up' Legolas smirked. 'I so wished you were dead' Emily grumbled as she pulled Ellie out from the table and walked towards thranduil. 'My lady' thranduil smiled as she saw Emily. 'My lord' she bowed her head. 'There's no reason to bow, you are a queen now lady with the ring' he smiled. 'Thank you' emily said as she looked at thranduil tiara, he do wear the best tiaras she wondered. 'I wanted to meet you before I left and I hope that you will be coming back to Mirkwood very soon' he said gently. 'I'll try my best my lord' Emily smiled. 'I've to go now son, do keep the lady safe and come back soon' thranduil smiled as he said goodbye.

'That went well didn't it?' Ellie chuckled. 'Shut up! he didn't mention anything but he sure was thinking about what he saw' Emily said as she covered her face with her hands. Everyone was at the night party that night except Emily she was on her bed. 'Where is the lady?' Legolas asked. 'The room my lord' Ellie smiled as she and Roland headed towards the party. As Legolas walked in Emily yelled 'for the 100th time I'm saying I don't want to attend the party el' as she covered her head with the blanket.

'I'm not el' Legolas laughed. 'Go away Legolas' she grumbled. 'I know you were embarrassed about what happened but, it's okay' Legolas said as he sat beside her. 'It may be okay in my world but middle earth is very different from my world' Emily got up and gave a light slap on Legolas back. 'Okay, it was awkward but gone is gone' he smiled. 'I can't belief you' Emily got up from the bed. 'Forget about it, my lady' Legolas said as he came closer. 'You should keep an arm distance from me' she laughed. 'I don't think I can live with that' he smirked.

The next day frodo, Sam, pippin and Merry left for the shire with Gandalf as they waved their last goodbyes. Frodo and Sam kissed Emily's hand one last time. 'When you ever pass by the shire be my guest' frodo smiled as he got upon the horse and the company rode away. 'You all are always welcomed in Rivendell' Elrond smiled as he rode away with his elves. 'guess Gimli, Legolas and Roland won't be saying goodbye to anyone soon' Emily laughed as she and Ellie got into their rooms and started to pack their bags.

'Where are you leaving?' Legolas questioned. 'I've to go back Legolas' Emily gasped as she put the sunflower in her backpack. 'I thought you would be staying here with us from now on' Legolas said as he came and hold her hands. 'I want to Legolas, but I've to go back and tell my parents I'm okay and I'll be okay. I even have some unfinished business to do' Emily said as she freed herself from Legolas hands and walked towards the window. 'Will you be back?' He asked desperately. 'Yes, I'll be and this time I'd never leave' she smiled.

'Really?' Legolas was overjoyed he kissed her forehead but Emily didn't know that traveling between this two worlds would be harder than she thought it would be. The two best friends waited for night fall. 'My lady I'll miss you' Gimli cried. 'I'll too' Emily hugged and kissed his forehead. 'You know Legolas is here don't you?' Gimli laughed. 'I don't care' Emily laughed more. 'Okay, enough with the hugging and the kissing' Legolas laughed as he pulled Emily towards him. 'This time when you come back we will go back to my father where, I'll court you' Legolas smiled. 'Okay, Prince Charming I'm still 25 and you are 2000years old?' Emily joked.

'Do you want me to kiss you like that day in front of them' Legolas whispered. 'Don't even think about it' Emily whispered back. She hugged Roland, Aragorn and Arwen and picked up her back pack. 'We are ready' she and Ellie smiled. 'And what about me?' Legolas asked. 'Sorry' she laughed as she hugged him, he hugged her even tighter. 'I've to leave now Legolas' she whispered. 'I'll miss you' he said as he kissed her one last time. She just freed herself from Legolas and walked away because she knew Legolas won't be stopping at that moment. 'Goodbye' they both yelled as they disappeared from middle-earth back to their own world.

'Ben how long have I been gone?' Emily questioned. 'About three months, mam' Ben said politely. 'Now we need a very good story' Emily smirked as she looked at Ellie. 'Leave it to me, I am the author out here I'd cover for you' Ellie laughed. Emily's strange disappearance from the limelight is what Ellie have to cover up now. 'After I meet my parents and everything is done we will leave this time once and for all' Emily smiled but the two best friends didn't know that this time to go back to middle-earth would never be the same.

The 3rd part of this story will be inspired by 'the hobbit 2&3' I'm almost done with it and will be spamming really soon because by the 2nd week of September I'll be busy with my classes which have no breaks or halts.
