I stepped out of the limo, embracing heat of the day. I sighed and stretched my arms upwards while trailing after Dante to get the bags. Even with the other muscular Guardians, all of my baggage still wasn't out of the trunk. I lent a hand, seeing as how they didn't have room in their arms to carry out Dante's duffle. I heaved the bag unto my shoulder, immediately caught off guard by its weight. What did he have in there? I snuck a glance at him to give him a snide remark about him dragging his entire closet with him. The insult was stuck in my throat as I saw his arms bulging out from underneath his dress shirt to support the tower of suitcases that had been piled on him. He couldn't even see in front of him with the towering bags. Even with all that weight, he didn't tremble. Instead, he was looking back at me with a patient look on his face. I blinked and suddenly realized he was waiting for me.

Shaking my head furiously like a wet dog, I snapped the trunk shut and walked in front of the three Guardians that were transporting my bags. I felt a prick of guilt as I watched the other two not so bulky Guardians struggle with the baggage. Knowing that they had to keep my in sight no matter what, I quickened my pace. Gratefully, they picked up theirs too as we reached the building marked Dormitories.

As soon as I walked in, a male around my age or older popped up to his feet. He was evidently a Moroi. He was slender and had the whole gorgeousness ordeal going on. His sapphire eyes swept over me and an immediate pearly white grin parted his chiseled lips.

"You must be Seraphina Voda," he greeted. I just nodded, still a little taken back by this man's appearance. I knew Moroi were gorgeous, I've seen them plenty of times, but he was probably the inspiration the Greeks had when sculpting their statues. He was perfect. Looks-wise, anyway.

"Princess, you're catching flies in that gaping mouth of yours," Dante chided through my thoughts. I hurled him a glare before turning back to the Moroi boy.

"Yes, I'm Seraphina. And you are?" I questioned, trying to keep the infuriating blush from creeping unto my pale face. It probably wasn't working. I could feel the burning heat in my cheeks.

"Eric. Eric Dashkov," the blond answered, his grin still plastered upon his face. Without saying anything further, he relieved me of the heavy duffle, showing no signs of effort as he heaved it upon his shoulder. I felt brief jealousy. Was it just me being weak? I hoped not.

"I'll be taking you to your dorm. Normally the lady running the front desk would," Eric said, while pointing at the empty desk in front of us, "but I volunteered to show you around."

I gave him a grateful smile. I'd rather have someone the opposite sex that was the same age as me instead of an older lady that was the same gender. "Thanks," I responded as I followed him to the right wing of the building.

When we had walked in, the building resembled a huge Victorian fashioned ballroom. There were two spiraled steps that swung unto either the right or left. The glass chandelier was the only source of light as it flickered erratically with the breeze whistling through. The light didn't reach through the glass stained windows thanks to the added overcast edges of the building. It was probably to keep the sunlight from leaking in and disturbing the sun sensitive Moroi.

Unlike the ballroom like floor, the stairs and hallways were padded with plush stainless dark blue carpet. Our footsteps were muffled as Eric continued to lead the way down the hall.

"As you have probably figured," Eric said, interrupting the silence, "these are the girl's dormitories. It's empty right now because everyone is in there classes. It's usually loud here." I just nodded, walking to the right of Eric and admiring the beauty. The walls were a glossy ivory and clashed with the carpet.
