He looks out the window, staring quietly as the world goes by. He has no idea where his parents are taking him. He looks to his right, where his sister is sitting. She is sitting there, crying her eyes out. He can't help but think it is his fault. Their mother yells at her to quit crying, and so she does. He goes back to looking out the window, and that's when the memories start to come back. He is only six years old, dark skin and black hair. He remembers all the horrible things that his parents had done to him. A tear rolls down his face as the they get more and more intense, until the point he is forced to watch in his mind. The first one was of how his parents had locked him in a closet for a whole week. This is what lead to him having claustrophobia. They had locked him in small enclosed spaces many many times. The next was when his mother had pulled a gun on him, and threatened to shoot him if he came out of his "room" again. So he didn't come out for days, afraid of his mother going to shoot him. And again the vision changed once more. This time he was coming home from school, and it was his birthday. As soon as he opened the door, his parents jumped out and started beating him. They beat him viciously with whatever they could find, and only stopped when he ran up to his room. He sat up the whole night crying his eyes out, thinking it was his fault that they had beat him so much. Once again the vision had changed. This one was fairly recent, for it had happened just a few weeks ago. He was walking up the stairs when his mother had come out of her room. Before he had time to do anything, she quickly reached for him and pushed him down the stairs. She quickly ran down the stairs, pulled him back up, and threw him back down. Thus to!me his nose had hit something and had broke. He could hardly see because of the tears in his eyes, but he could see enough to run out of the house and down to a store for a few hours. He saw their car go by, and so he went back up to his house, hoping that no one would be there. He then went to his room and cried himself to sleep, wondering what it was that he had done to be treated that way. Then the visions had faded away, and there he was in the car, quietly crying himself. He looked out the window, and saw that they were coming up on a town. He watched as families went into stores and restaurants, laughing and being as happy as can be. He wondered to himself, why can't my family be like that? He then thought that it was his fault that his family couldn't be happy. He thought that everything was his fault. He looked out the window once more, and saw that they were coming up on a hospital. He wondered why they were going to a hospital. Once his father parked the car, his mother told him to get out. So he did as he was told, for he was afraid of getting hurt. He followed her inside, still wondering what they were doing. His mother didn't seem to know where she was going, so she stopped and asked someone for directions. She then pulled him into an elevator. Once she pushed the button, she turned to him and told him to noir say anything about her beating him. He didn't respond, so she smacked him in the head until he did. The elevator opened, and they were greeted by a woman.
