Ch.37

Ethan's pov

*Flashback*

I was in the airport and I get to my gate and I give the lady my ticket.

"I'm sorry sir the doors have been closed you can't get on the plane. Go to the front desk to get a refund or stay till the next flight." She says Politely

"When is the next flight?" I ask

"The next flight is at 4." She says

I say thank you and go sit down. About 49 seconds later I see a girl run up to the desk. It looks like LJ.

She was arguing with the lady. Then the girl turns and it was LJ. Why was she here? Oh my gosh she remembers.

As soon as I look up she was gone. I get up and go to the lady at the desk. "Where is the front desk?" I ask

"Have you decided not to fly with us today?" She asks

"Yes I would just like my refund." I say know me of rushing.

"The d so is right over there." She says I get my refund and I get in the car and just start thinking.

How long has she remembered? Does she really remember? Did she ever really forget?

I drive up to the house and everyone was gone. I guess they already left for school.

I find a hotel and the first call I make is to get all the stuff I shipped. I give them the address of the hotel. I sit and and think.

*Flashback Over*

"That's what happened." I say to LJ

"You could have come found me at the school." She says

"I would have messed up everything between you and jasper." He says

"No you wouldn't we didn't date until the second year of school. We dated for about a year and then he left for the army." She says and I can see tears forming in her eyes.

"Well if I did then you wouldn't have written your book." I say

"So? I would have been able to be with you!" She yells

"Do you really think I would have forgiven you that quickly. I read your book knowing you remembered and when it said you remember me. I through the book across the room because I was mad. How do you think I would have acted if you told me?!" I tell

"In sorry! I love you. I have always loved you. When I was with other people I didn't think about you but once they took me home I felt how alone I was. When I have something to challenge my brain it helps me not think about you." She says and my stomach felt like it burst.

I grab her and hug her. "Please don't leave me again." I say

"I won't." She looks up at me and I just kiss her sweet soft lips. It felt just as it has always had full of beauty.

After a few hour we just talk.

"So how did you get a job as a camera man?" Ask as she eats grapes

"Well I lived here for a while and I knew I needed more money. I went out to as many news casters and editors out there. Then one guy stopped me, and he gave me a job. Didn't ask me a question just gave it to me." I say

"Wow that's amazing." She say," so does josh know you're still here?" She asks

"No." I say with my one word answer.

"Ethan come on he is like a brother to you and you didn't even tell him." She sad getting angry

"I didn't want anyone to know." I say

"Did you go to school while you were here?" She asks

"No I didn't have the money. If I did I just pull have never know about you knowing." I say

"You found out before the whole country knew. If you went to school you would have had a college education and would have found out still because of the book." She says and I can feel her frustration

"LJ if I left I n vet would have seen you again." I say

"There's this thing called a plane. Ethan I don't want to be the resin you can't get a really good job." She says

"You aren't. Why do you think it's all about you?" I yell

"You didn't get on the plane to your bream school for your dream job because of me. That day when you were supposed to the leave I was going to get a ticket and wait for the next flight but I decided he is doing something great in his life. He'll find someone that truly loves him." She yells and crys

"LJ?" I try to finish but she stops me.

"No Ethan I wrote that book to always remember and then I became cancer free. I published it for you too see it and read the story to see that I'm ok. I didn't have to make you stay. I don't need help. I was able to be without you. I wanted you to be in Michigan. It helped me think that one day you would read it and you would think that." She says and grabs her stuff.

"What where are you going?" I ask

"I'm gonna go home. To my dog and cat tell them my day and call Sam." She says," don't be worried  I won't tell I say you. Well since your here I guess I tell you but Josh and dam are getting married. They sent you and invitation it you won't get it. I'll send it. Goodbye Ethan." She says and walks out the door.

I think about everything I missed. All of my friends life because I have was and idiot and I didn't want to tell them about me not  leaving.

I run downstairs and run outside and it was raining and I look at o find LJ. I see her I run up to her.

I kissed her like on her favorite movie." LJ I know I have been and idiot and I haven't told people the truth but Lexi Adele Jackson wilgl you ......
