CHAPTER 10:
***
The next morning I woke up by doing ninja moves out of bed and over to my alarm clock after remembering about the long trip ahead.
My clock read 10:40.My head snapped back, checking to see if my eyes had lied to me. Holy Shit. How was it 10:40! 10:40? Freakin ay! I ran out of my room and slammed into Fang's room. The bed was undone and messy from a ruff nights sleep and his closet was raided with the things he would need for a journey.
I quickly ran to Nudges, Angels, Gassmans, Iggys and my moms room to find the same scene along with them nowhere to be scene.
And then a thought crept into my mind.ITEX! Omgod. Itex took my family. My family is gone. Their all dead. Oh god.
I ran into the kitchen looking for some form of evidence not wanting to jump to conclusions.
On the stove there was an unwashed pancake making pan Iggy uses in the morning to cook breakfast with that he promptly washes after the feast to insure no sticking of leftover butter and pancake batter to form and create a hard clean up.
In the living room, I saw my mothers news paper spread out in a clump all over the coffee table.
She would always yell at me when I would leave the comics spread out on the coffee table like that. And my mother was no hypocrite!Pure terror washed over me as I finalized that my entire freaking family had been kidnapped by the most demonic twisted scientists in the world.
And the most sickening part was... Gassmans pancakes were left untouched with only globs of now ruined maple syrup soaking the fluffy pancakes into slimey blobs of bread.
Why this was the scariest of all?
Well one, Gasman always finished his pancakes. And two, next to his plate there was note left in the messiest handwriting Id
ever seen. The handwriting that could only be done by the foulest grotesque living thing. An eraser.
However, all the erasers were extinct except for one. One that I knew very well from past encounters.
Ari.
