I woke up to the sound of T.V blaring and the smell of pancakes. Mmmm, gotta love Iggy!
I got out of bed and pulled some clothes on, leaving my hair the mess it was.
I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom look up from where she was sitting in the living room with a newspaper in one hand and coffee in the other.
"Hey sweetie, how ya feeling?" My mom asked.
"Fine.." I responded vaguely questionably while pouring myself a cup of coffee. I walked over to Iggy who passed me 10 pancakes. I stared down at them confused. He must of sensed my reaction because he added," Your eating for two now." I rolled my eyes and slumped into a chair at the kitchen table.
Nudge and Ella were also sitting at the table. Nudge was mumbling random words and writing the down. Ella seemed to be nitting pink thumb muffs. "What are those?" I asked Ella. "There baby booties!" She said with a squeal. Before I could respond a paper with words on it was shoved into my face. Nudge then took the paper back with a proud look on her face. "Ok so I was thinking girl names because Ella and I are both rooting for a girl!" She turned to Ella with a big smile on her face and they giggled. "Ok so we need classy but not too popular. Here's what I was thinking: Bella, Issie, Olivia, Payton, Ruby, Allysa, Saleena, Nichole, Ariana...." At that point my jaw was dropped and my eyes were not amused. Nudge continued the list and just as Fang walked into the room I screamed angrily,"I'm not even keeping the baby!"
I scanned the room and all eyes were on me. I quickley jumped out of my chair and ran to the door doing an up and away. Tears formed in my eyes but the only thing that kept burning wholes into my mind was Fang's face when I screamed I wasnt keeping the baby. It was an expression I dreaded the most, an expression of question and hurt.
