The Regionals!!!(Chapter 8)

*Normal POV*

Today, finally, and as a result of all the practices and effort of all the swiming club, it was the competition the regionals. You arrived in the bus with Makoto, Haru, Nagisa, Rei and Gou. 

-I'm very nervous...-You said.-

-Don't worry (Y/n), besides; you're not going to swim today.-Gou said.- 

-But I will swim this afternoon in the individual competitions! And I'm nervous also for you, guys.-You said refering to all the club.-

-Well, don't worry, we'll have fun and do our best, and that's the most important thing.-Makoto said you, smiling as typically.-

-Yeah, don't worry, and although Makoto ist's sure if we'll wi, we will.-Nagisa said.-

-And we'll see lots of landscapes and be free!-Haru said.-

-Don't worry about us, (Y/n). We'll be fine if you keep supporting us.-Rei said you while he hugged you with a smile, causing you to blush.-

-Okey guys, I believe in you!-You said.-

-Guys, we have to go inside, our race starts in an hour.-Gou reminded you all.-

-Fine! Let's go and do our best!-Rei shouted.-

-Yes!-The rest of you said.-

Then you noticed the Samezuka's guys were walking in front of you. Gou went to say hello to her brother. You continued walking to the changing rooms.

-Kou, should I change?-You asked.-

-Yeah, because if something happens to someone you will have to swim instead. I'm happy although your best field is butterfly swimming, you could swim any style.-Gou answered, sighing of relief.-

-Ok.

A few minutes later, you all went out the changing rooms to the steps until it was your turn. Suddenly, Rei falled down when he stumbled with a step.

-Rei?! Are you okay?!-You said running to him and helping him to stand up.-

-I...I think so...-He answered, but he couldn't stand up.-

-You need to go to the nursery! Now!-Gou said.- (Y/n), go with him, but hurry up.

-Okay.-You said and charged Rei on your back and walked as fast as you could to the nursery there was installed there for possible accidents.-

-Um, hello, are you the doctor?-You asked.-

-Yes, I am. What happened?-The doctor asked.-

-I fell down in the steps, and now I can't stand up...-Rei said.-

-Oh... Let's see.-He said and started checking your boyfriend. When he finished, he said:

-Well, this isn't very severe, but you have to rest until this afternoon, because if not, you can break your uncle.-The doctor explained.-

-So, in the noon I'll be able to swim, but not in the morning...-Rei said, sadly.-

-Exactly.-The doctor answered.-

-So, I'll swim in the relay race!-You said, nervous, but not excited because you could feel the pain of your boyfriend, not only phisical, but emotional.-

-Yeah, you will.-Rei answered.-

-Ok, let's go back, because we will not arrive at time.-You said, fortunately the doctor had given Rei a pair of crutches for him to walk until the noon, so you don't need to charge him more.- Thanks!

-Thank you.-Rei said to the doctor.-

*While going again to the steps*

-Sorry, Rei-kun...-You said, sadly.- I know you wanted to swim with the team...

-It's not your fault, (Y/n). You only helped me. Luckily we have you here to sustitue me. What would do without you, (Y/n)!-He said and softly kissed you.-

-Thanks, Rei... Remember that I love you, and that I'll swim for the team, for you.-You said, smiling.-

-What did the doctor said? Are you okay, Rei?-Gou asked nervously when you arrived.-

-He said I'll be able to swim in the afternoon, but not now. We're lucky we have (Y/n).-Rei answered.-

-Oh... At least, it's not a very serious injurie, because if it was, you won't be able to swim this noon. Good luck, (Y/n)! Now, go to warm up in the other pool, when you have to come here the megaphones will advert you.-Gou said.-

-Ok. I'll give my best!-You said happily, and runed to the other pool.-

*Time skip because everybody loves Pool-chan*

-Guys!-You said.-

-(Y/n)?! What are you doing here?-Makoto asked.-

-Well... When Rei falled down we went to the nursery, and the doctor said he won't be able to swim until today's afternoon, so I'll swim in his place.-You said, resuming everything as best as you could.-

-Ah, okay. Start warming up (Y/n), there's not a lot of time!-Nagisa said.-

-Fine.

You all warmed up when the megaphones said:

-Swimmers of the fourth race of the relay competition, start coming to the principal pool! The race is about to start.

-It's our time to show the world our team! Iwatobi, let's go!-Makoto said.-

-Yes!-You all answered.-
