Hello everybody! This story is a Rei Ryugazaki x Reader, from the anime/light novel Free!. This is my first story, so I'm sorry if it isn't very good, but I'll try my best. Thanks for reading!
You woke up, first you were disorientated because you were still in the hotel room. Today, you'll compete again, yesterday you swam in the eliminatories, today you'll swim in the quarters of final. There will be 5 swimmers in each serie, 5 series in each race, and the first 3 will pass. It was the same as the last day, in the morning you'll swim the relays, and in the noon, the individuals. Today Rei will swim in the relays. As Gou saw you were better for the team than Rei, she said he'll swim today but you will be the official swimmer. You prepared your things and exited the room with Gou. You called the boys and walked to the enclosure.
-Okay, you now know how this works. Change and go to the second pool. (Y/n), you'll come with me to the steps.-Gou said.-
-Fine.-The boys said and walked to the changing rooms.-
-Um... Kou... Is it really okay that in the other races, figurating today we pass, I swim instead of Rei?-You asked your team manager.-
-It's the best option for the team. Unless you don't want to do it. In that case, Rei will swim.-She answered.-
-No, I want to swim, I was only asking. I understand why you decided it.-You said.-
-Look, the guys are here!-Gou shouted. Your team was in the 1st serie.-
-GIVE YOUR BEST IWATOBI!-You shouted. They all looked atyou and smiled, except Haru; he doesn't smile very often.-
-They are going to start.-Gou said.-
Makoto entered the water, and jumped when the ref gave the signal. He arrived in second place to the wall, and twirled. He swam back and arrived second, Nagisa jumped. He shoirtened distances with the first swimmer practically when he arrived to the wall. He turned around and started to swim again, he mantained his first position until he arrived to the end, Rei jumped.
-GO GO REI! SWIM SWIM REI!!!-You shouted. He mantained the first position, but in the twirl he loosed the advantage and arrived in second place to the final wall. Haru jumped and swam as always. He was very fast, so he made the team win.-
-Congratulations guys!-You and Gou said them when you arrived down.-
-Thank you, but it was all thanks to Haru.-Makoto said, with his typical smile.-
-Change and we'll go to eat somewhere to celebrate you all passed in every race!-Gou said.-
-Yes!-You all said.-
The boys changed and you went to a restaurant near the hotel. You ordered and Gou started to explain you.
-Guys, in the individuals of today, we go against the Samezuka's boys in almost all races! Be prepared. Nagisa: you'll go vs Nitori Aiichirou.
