Semifinals 2/2 (Chapter 17)

*Normal POV*

-Haru!-You shouted.-

The freestyle swimmer jumped from the starting block in the right moment. You could see that Rin was as fast as Haru, and Seika's free swimmer was almost as fast as both of them, but she couldn't reach them. The battle was between Iwatobi and Samezuka. They arrived to the twirl and Rin took advantage, but soon Haru reached him. Finally, both of them arrived... The difference of time was less than a second, as always. All of the swimmers of both teams turned as fast as you could your head towards the board with the results... You all saw the number one next to the Iwatobi name. 

-We won!!!-You, Nagisa and Rei shouted in unison.-

-Good job, Haru-chan.-Makoto said Haru, handing to him his hand to help him out the pool.-

-Thanks. But without the 'chan'.-Haru said and took Makoto's hand.-

-We did great!-You said and hugged Nagisa with one arm and Haru with the other, and soon Makoto joined the hug.-

-We're in the regionals!-Nagisa shouted.-

-Yes!-Makoto said.-

-Now let's go to rest, if not we wont have energies for the individuals.-You said and ran to the changing rooms, still excited.-

-You did a great job (L/n)-san, I didn't expect that much about you.-Oumae said you with a warm smile.-

-Thanks Oumae-san, you also did great.-You said and corresponded the smile. You took your things and exited the changing rooms.-

-You did soooo great!-Gou said and jumped.-

-Thanks...-You, Nagisa, Makoto and Haru answered at the same time.-

-But! Don't think this is enough! You always need to have ambitious goals, we have to train always harder. But don't worry about it right now, focus on the individuals. We also have to reach the nationals!-Gou said.-

-Fine. I think we should now eat and rest in the hotel, I'm so tired~-Nagisa suggested.-

-Ok, we'll go.-Gou said and you all went to the hotel and each one to it's room. You couldn't sleep, so you read a book until it was the time you had to go. You all met at the hotel's entrance.-

-Okay, ready?-Makoto asked when you arrived to the enclosure.-

-Yes!-You all said and ran to the changing rooms and as soon as you finished to the second pool and started training.-

-Swimmers, please come to the principal pool.-The megaphones said.-

-Who's swimming first?-Nagisa asked.-

-Haru-kun.-You answered.-

Everyone was now on the steps, except for Haru and you. He was swimming right now. As Rin wasn't in his serie, he won easily. The same happened to Rin in his race. Now it was Makoto's turn, as you were disqualified from freestyle. Makoto swam very well, he became first but almost second in both of his races. Now it was your turn. You herd all the team cheer for you. You had difficulties like Makoto to win, but you finally did. You were so happy! Now Nagisa was about to swim. He was once again in the same serie than Nitori. Nitori had improved a lot since their last race, but Nagisa was still better. It was Your turn once again. It was easy for you to win. Now it was the time for butterfly style. Rei walked down to the pool.

-(Y/n), you are doing so well! I wish I could swim as good as you.-He said you.-

-Don't say those things, you're the best!-You said and hugged him.- Now give your best, I want to see you in the nationals.

-Okay, do your best too.-He said and waved his hand, and then walked to his lane. He stepped on the starting block and jumped exactly when the signal was given.-

-Wow, his form is so perfect...-You whispered to yourself.-

Rei was on the second place, practically first. 

*Rei's POV*

Wow, we're already on the regionals... I only need to win this race and then I'll be in the nationals! I can't loose anyway! I'm hearing my team cheering for me... I can't disappoint them! I'm about to pass the first swimmer, but I'm on my limit... No! I'll do it! I'm in first place, and about to touch the end. I just... Won!

*Normal POV*

Rei had won the race, all of the team was so proud of him. He won also his second race. You were really impressed. Now you'll have to swim. You won your first race without trouble, but you were going to swim with Oumae-san in your second one. The race was very very tied. She was very fast but you were also. In that moment, you started to see one of those 'sights' or 'landscapes'. That was because you were very focused, a thing that Oumae-san couldn't do at that moment because of the pressure. You did won that race also.

-Wow, the trainings really gave their results!-Gou exclaimed.-

-You all did great!-Amakata-sensei said when you all met outside.-

-But that's thanks to Kou, she trained us very well.-Makoto said.-

-It's thanks to all of us, because we're a team!-Gou said, energetically.-
