The Relays and Individuals (Chapter 9)

*Normal POV*

You and Haru, Makoto and Nagisa arrived to the principal pool. You went to your lane and listened to the megaphones.

-Now, the fourth race of the relay race of high schools! The teams are: ..., ..., ..., Iwatobi,...,..., Samezuka and ... . Good luck everyone!

-What?! We are going to swim against Samezuka in our first race?!-You asked.-

-Yeah... We can't do anything but do our best.-Your capitain said.-

-GIVE YOUR BEST GUYS! WE'LL BE SUPPORTING YOU!!!-Rei shouted from the steps.-

-GO IWATOBI!!!! GO SAMEZUKA!!!!-Gou said.-

-Why does she is supporting Samezuka also?-Nagisa questioned.-

-Her brother is in Samezuka.-Haru answered.-

-True! Sometimes I forget Rin is Kou's brother.-You said.-

-Now concentrate, guys. Remember, we have trained all this time to win! Go, Iwatobi!-Makoto shouted.-

-Backstroke swimmers, please go to your positions.-The megaphones said.-

-Good luck Mako-chan!-Nagisa said.-

-Give your best, Makoto!-You agreed.-

-Luck.-Haru said.-

-Thanks guys!-Makoto said and entered the pool.-

-Ready? GO!-The ref shouted and left his arm.-

-GO GO MAKOTO! SWIM SWIM MAKOTO!-You and your team including Rei and Gou shouted.-

Makoto arrived to the wall in first place and Nagisa jumped.

-GO NAGISA!-Makoto shouted as he left the water. The team said the same they said Makoto to Nagisa, and you prepared.-

-YOU CAN DO IT (Y/N)! SWIM FOR THE TEAM!-You heard somebody shouted from the steps. You recognized his voice and you turned around, and effectively, the one that shouted was your boyfriend.-

-I WILL!-You answered him with a smile.-

Nagisa arrived to the wall in a fourth position, if you didn't decrease the distance, your team wasn't going to be able to win. You jumped as far as you could, as Gou teached you, and swam as if there wasn't a tomorrow. While you were swimming, suddenly you started to see one of those famous 'landscapes'. You continued swimming, while your team shouted for you. You arrived to the wall in first place and Haru jumped.

-(Y/n), you did it wonderful!-Makoto said you.-

-Thanks for everything, guys. Without your support I would never be able to do this.-You said smiling.- Now, we have to support Haru. 

-GO GO HARU! SWIM SWIM HARU!-You all shouted.-

Haru and Rin were practically swimming at the same speed. But, in the last moment, Haru swam faster, he touched the wall and you all looked to the screen with the results, and saw the name of your club in first place, and Samezuka's in second.

-YOU DID IT GUYS!-Rei shouted as he arrived to the pool.-

-Rei! Thanks for your support.-You said and kissed him.-

-I-It's nothing...-Your boyfriend said and blushed.-

-Team hug!-Nagisa shouted as you five hugged.-

You started to cry of joy, and the same happened to all the team except Haru.

-Now we have to go to the hotel, the individual competitions are this noon and we have to prepare.-Gou said as she arrived with a smile.- You were great guys!-She said and hugged all of you.-

-Okay, let's go.-Makoto said.-

-Guys, you don't have to relax, this was only the first step. Remember that from the ten teams that were in each race, the five that were first would go to the next race tomorrow, so Samezuka isn't out yet.-Gou reminded you.-

-True... I forgot...-Haru said.-

-But for the moment don't worry about that, now focus on tour individual competitions this afternoon. Is your uncle better, Rei?-Gou asked.-

-Yeah, I think I can swim now.-He answered.-

-Fine. Now let's eat and go to your bedrooms, you can sleep to regain strength.

-Okay.-You all said and sat on a table of the lunch room in your hotel.-

You ate and finally went to bed.
