The Best Swimmer (Chapter 7)

*Normal POV*

Today you and your boyfriend will compete in a swimming race for the place of the official relay swimmer of butterfly style in the regionals. You two had trained a lot. Now it was the hour of the truth.

-Guys, before starting today's training, as I commented you yesterday, (Y/n)-chan and Rei-chan are going to swim 2 pools and I'll evaluate the speed, the form, the resistance and the technique. Who wants to start?-Gou said.-

-I will.-You answered.-

You had practiced a lot, so you were entrusted. You were ready to jump.

-Very good (Y/n)! Rei, you have to swim very well to beat this.-Gou said.-

You swimmed until the night with the others. When it was late and you finished the practice, Gou asked Rei and you to talk with her for a moment.

-Guys, I said I would tell you my decission tomorrow, but I'll do it to you two personally today, and say it to the team tomorrow. First of all, you two swim in a very simillar way. Have I talked you about the landscapes you can see when you swim?-Gou asked.-

-No, you haven't.-You answered.-

-Well... When you are very concentrated in your swimming and also relaxed, but mostly enjoying, you can see a lot of landscapes. Have you experienced it?

-Yes! That happens to me very often, I thought it was only my imagination.-Rei answered.-

-The same happens to me.-You agreed.-

-That's another reason that explains why you two are so simillar. Your landscapes are the same. That is because it also depends a lot of your remembers, and as you shared your childhood, you have mostly the same remembers. But I got to a conclusion. The one that is going to swim in the official race is... Rei! Sorry (Y/n). It was because of small details. The only difference I saw it was the jump. When you jump, your purpose is to jump as far as possible to gain distance. You have to improve that. But anyways don't worry, because if I see you improve that, maybe I'll change you in middle of the competition. So anyways give your best!-She said.-

-Um...Okay.-Rei said.- Sorry my love...

-Don't worry. I wanted to swim, but the most important thing is to swim for the team, and if the team is better with you, it's okay.-You answered with the same smile you had the day you first met.-

-Okay, so that's all for today guys. You can go home.-Gou said.- See you tomorrow!

-Let's go home.-Rei said you and took your hand.-

-I'll train as if I won.-You said.-

-Be sure in the competition I'll swim for you (Y/n)-chan...
