Chapter 9

I woke up dreading having to go to school. I had no choice though. I did my daily routine which took about an hour then headed downstairs. I sat down at the table with Hinabi and Neji eating my breakfast and having short conversations. I forgot that Hinabi will be starting at my school today.

I guess she's walking with me and my friends.

"Hey sis?" Hinabi said as I put my dishes in the sink.

"Hmm?" I answered still chewing on some bacon.

"Well uh I won't be walking with you today." Hinabi explained. I noticed a blush creep into her face.

"And why is that?" I asked looking at her suspiciously.

"Ya see Konohamaru said he'd walk with me.." Hinabi said choking on every word.

"Oh okay! I'll leave you and your boyfriend alone." I teased pinching her blushing cheeks.

"Hey! He's not-" Hinabi started but Neji cut her off.

"Okay enough." Neji sighed and practically pushed us out the door.

Right when we walked out I saw Konohamaru and Naruto arguing.

"Shut it! I do not like Hina-" but Konohamaru stopped mid sentence when he notice us.

"You don't like who?" I asked because I'm nosy okay?!

"Uh it doesn't matter." Konohamaru stated.

I knew exactly who he was talking about. We all headed towards the school and Konohamaru and Hinabi stayed in front of us. They started talking and I decided to walk a little closer to listen. Naruto grabbed my wrist and pulled me back before I could get any juicy information.

"Naruto let me go!" I whisper shouted.

"No they need privacy!" He shouted at me still holding onto my wrist.

I tried to escape again but he moved his grip to my hand and intertwined his fingers. I was stuck! Then I noticed NARUTO IS HOLDING MY HAND!I blushed immediately and looked ahead. I'm kind of liking the warmth of his hand it feels great actually.

WAIT!! NO! Naruto is like a brother to me nothing more! Right? Ughh I don't know! Damn you emotions! We arrived at school and everyone looked at me and Naruto. I wanted to let go but then I didn't! But I don't really need this attention.

"Naruto can you please let go?" I asked staring at the ground hiding my blush.

He looked at me confused then looked at our hands and quickly let go. I caught the blush on his whisker marked cheeks and giggled.

"What's funny?" Sasuke asked looking rather annoyed.

I almost forgot Sasuke was with us. What a great friend I am right? I was about to answer when I saw a certain brown haired boy walking away in anger. Oh no! Kiba saw!

"Uh nothing I have to go see you in class!" I said as I ran off towards Kiba's direction.

They looked at my as if I grew an extra head when I ran down the hall. I saw Kiba in the courtyard alone sitting on a bench. I walked over to him and sat down. He acted like he didn't even see me. Which is really rude but I understand.

"Kiba.." I started.

"I'm sorry you had to see that I can explain." I said about to tell him the whole story.

"You don't have to explain anything to me were just friends right?" He said his voice full of anger.

Ughh Kiba why do you have to be so difficult! The only reason I'm here beside you is because your my friend and I don't like seeing you hurt!

"Kiba I don't like seeing you like this. Look me and Naruto are friends and that's all we'll ever be okay?" I explained but I had this weird feeling that I was lying.

I mean thats all me and Naruto will ever be right?

"Hinata? Hey earth to Hinata?" Kiba said which snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Huh?" I asked getting back to reality.

"I was saying thanks for being here for me." Kiba said and wrapped round in a hug.

Ohhhh Kiba gives the best hugs! We walked back to class just in time I sat down next to him and my buddy Shino.

After a loooong and boring day at school I was about to hug my pillows when someone beat me to it.

"Naruto! Get off!" I yelled pulling the pillow back and forth with him.

"Never!" Naruto yelled pulling the pillow with all his strength.

It pulled me right on top of him out lips brushing over each other. My eyes widened and I could feel my face heat up. I KISSED NARUTO! Well barley but you get it!!

I got up and fell off of him I stayed on the floor for awhile hiding my shame. I knew Sasuke saw and Naruto felt.

"Idiot." I whispered to myself.

"What did you say?" Sasuke asked kneeling next to me.

I got up and waved my hands

"N-Nothing!"

We were in an awkward silence. For AWHILE! Naruto was under my sheets I was sitting in a chair pretending to do something on my phone. And Sasuke was staring at us.

"Look guys what happened was very awkward okay! But it was just an accident so can we get over it!?" Sasuke yelled I could tell he wasn't loving the silence.

I sighed and relaxed my tense body.

"Yeah okay." I agreed and so did Naruto.

Ring.

Naruto dug his phone out of his pockets and slid the green button.

"Uhh okay I'll be there!" Naruto said and was getting up.

"Where you going looser?" Sasuke asked.

"Uh I have something to d-do." Naruto said suspiciously.

I caught on to him and exchanged a look with Sasuke. After Naruto left me and Sasuke headed out after him. Of course I had to sneak past Neji..again. When we got passed I saw Naruto go around the corner. I felt like some kind of spy or something.

I started rolling around corners but stopped after I cut myself on some glass on the ground. I guess I'm not even close to a ninja but I can see pretty well in darkness for some reason. We saw Naruto go into a dark alley an we followed.
