Best Friends

Chapter 11

When we arrived at school the next morning I acted as if nothing happened last night. I really didn't want to remember it to be honest. I looked around for Naruto with Sasuke close behind me. We were going to tell Naruto the truth of what happened.

I saw Naruto talking to Sakura and Ino near my locker so I strolled over there with Sasuke.

"Hey Sasuke!" Sakura shouted as soon as we were in hearing distance.

He just said his signature "Hn." I elbowed him because I knew how much Sakura liked him.

"Hey." Sasuke replied rolling his eyes.

Sakura smiled at him and she dragged Ino who knows where. Naruto acted just like his normal self to my surprise. I thought he was mad or something.

"Hey guys! Sorry about last night I had to get home." Naruto said scratching his head.

Right then I could tell he was lying. His eyes darted everywhere and also he lives alone. Why would he have to get home? He could stay out all night if he wanted to so I knew he was hiding something.

"Oh okay! I totally understand." I said faking a smile. That lying rat what's he hiding?!

"I also didn't get to say congrats on being a couple!" Naruto said a little to loud I think some people around us heard.

"About that." I started but I really didn't know what to say. Lucky me Sasuke to the rescue!

"We followed you after you left last night since you were acting suspicious. We overheard your conversation with those sketchy people in the ally. Then when it was over you were walking towards us so we had to hide in the store. Since you found us we didn't want you to get mad so we said we were dating." Sasuke explained emotionless as ever.

I saw Naruto's body relax and his face soften. He doesn't look so uncomfortable as while ago at least.

"Well I am mad at you for lying but I forgive you guys. I mean your my best friends." Naruto said pulling us into a hug and giving us a cheesy smile.

"Alright let go of me looser." Sasuke said with an annoyed look on his face.

"Let's go to class guys." I said smiling that were all back to normal.

When we got into class I sat down and the teacher announced we were having a new student. He walked in and I recognized him immediately! He was that blonde headed guy I saw with Naruto in the alley.

"Hey my name is Deidara." He said and then took his seat right in front of me.

I heard some of the girls in class talking about how "hot" he was.

He is bad news I can feel it.

After Class

After class was over I saw Naruto acting pretty weird. It was probably because of that Deidara guy.

"Hey Naruto are you okay?" I asked looking at him funny.

"Uhh yeah! Why do you ask?" He said scratching the back of his head.

"Well you've been acting weird since that Deidara guy came. So what's wrong?" I asked hoping he wouldn't lie.

"Nothing's wrong I'm just fine." Naruto lied.

"Fine don't tell me." I said as I walked to my next class.

After School

Naruto and Sasuke had baseball practice again so I was walking alone. Every time  I walk alone something bad happens. I walked quickly home just in case something was going to happen.

"Hey!" I heard someone say behind me.

I turned around to see the new kid in class. Oh my this is not good.

"Heeey." I said because it would be rude not to.

"Can I walk with you?" He asked. Oh No Oh No you can NOT!

"I'm already almost home sooo I'm good." I said walking a bit faster.

He caught up and walked in front of me blocking me from going further.

"C'mon I don't bite?" Deidara said. If I wasn't mistaken I would think he was flirting with me?!?

"Yeah no thanks." I said as I turned around but he grabbed my wrist. I turned around so fast that our face were centimeters apart.

He had intense blue eyes and golden hair. His smile was menacing and his stare twisted and dark. I did not want to be anywhere near this guy. I stepped back and continued on my journey home.

I heard footsteps behind me. Ughh is he following me? Why does everything bad happen when they're at baseball practice?! I saw my house in view so I made a run for it. When I made it inside I looked out the window and saw Deidara head into a house not to far from mine.

I went upstairs and relaxed after taking a shower and finishing my homework I was drained. I turned on some soothing music and fell into a deep slumber.

I woke up to the last day of prison. I won't have to wake up early anymore I can just sleep eat repeat! As usual did the daily routine and skipped breakfast. I walked out the door to be greeted by my two favorite people.

"Let's go already! I'm ready to get this day over with!" Naruto shouted and put his arms behind his head.

"Alright Alright calm down!" I yelled as I walked as slow as possible over to them just to annoy Naruto.

"Come on slow poke!" Naruto yelled as literally picked me up and set me on the side walk.

I blushed and started walking looking at the ground. I saw Deidara walking ahead of us. He stopped and I saw him bend down and tie his shoe. We walked passed him and I thought I heard him talking to someone. I heard footsteps behind us like a lot more than one pair.

"Hinata someone's following us so run when I say okay?" Naruto whispered.

"W-What about you and Sasuke?" I asked.

"Don't worry okay? Just run when I say." He replied.

The footsteps got closer I could feel the sweat run down my forehead. In a matter of seconds I felt them right behind me.

"RUN!" Naruto shouted at the top of his lungs while he was fist fighting one of the guys I saw in the alley.

I ran as fast as I could I turned the corner and two guys stood there. They didn't look nice I tried running past them but they caught me. The two men took me back to where Naruto and Sasuke were but they were captured. They took out some guys but there were to many. The men put something over all of our mouths and noses and I slipped into darkness.
