Best Friends

Chapter 18

As we drove to the place in the letter I noticed Sasuke he looked sad. I felt bad of course I felt terrible Naruto is my best friend and....the guy I love. I-I just can't leave Hinabi like that but I still don't want to loose Naruto so I have a plan.

We arrived and saw them standing across from us with Hinabi struggling under their grip. I immediately got out of the car and Sasuke pulled Naruto out.

"Don't worry Hinabi everything's gonna be fine I promise!" I yelled as I walked over there.

When I got there Hinabi looked like she had been beaten. I broke down in tears this was all because of me. The friends I chose.

"Give us Naruto." Said Pain

"Give us Hinabi." I said

I walked up with Naruto behind me and before we switched I stopped.

"Let's talk...privately." I said to Pain

He looked at me suspiciously and his eyes narrowed. He nodded his head and we went over to a nearby tree. After talking we walked back.

"Hinata what did you talk about?" Sasuke asked with Hinabi in his hands. I didn't answer well I couldn't.

Suddenly they threw Naruto back his tape falling off. I stayed over with the Akatsuki and I guess Sasuke figured it out.

"Hinata what are you- oh no no you didn't!" He said looking at me sadness filling his eyes. I put my head down and Pain put his arm in my shoulder.

"I'm sorry I didn't want to loose either of you.." I said tears streaming down my face. I wanted to say something before I leave them.

"Naruto." I said looking at the cold ground.

"Yeah?" He said crying as well.

"I-" but before I could finish he blurted out something it sounded like "I love you". I froze and put my head up.

"W-what did you say?" I asked making sure I heard right.

"I love you Hinata Hyuga." Naruto said clearly.

My eyes went wide and I didn't even think about the next words I said.

"I love you too...Naruto." I said trembling.

"Oh well isn't this great. Two people confessing their love as the other one gets hauled away. It's like a movie!" Sasori said chuckling.

"Too bad you'll never get to see each other again." Deidara added in.

"We'll be leaving now." Pain said grabbing me.

"No!" Naruto yelled I could hear his foot steps running towards us. Two of the Akatsuki stayed back to hold him off and I got thrown into a van.

They stared the engine and sped off and after that I slipped into complete darkness.

When I woke up it was cold I looked around and saw I had been in the floor. I didn't know where I was. I got up and dusted the dirt off my clothes as I walked over to the window I saw a tree. It was a tall Sakura tree it was beautiful.

I sat down on the floor and leaned against the wall thinking about how my friends and Neji are doing. I know they'll try and help me. As I was in deep thought I saw the door handle twist in the corner of my eye.

I looked and saw a man he wasn't familiar I've never seen him every time I ran into the Akatsuki. He walked close to me and I leaned back. His black eyes reminded me of someone.

A piece of stray hair fell onto my face and his hand slowly moved it away. I was trembling. He smirked and his mouth opened.

"You're Hinata right?" He asked his hand on my cheek.

"Y-Yes." I answered avoiding eye contact.

"I've heard a lot about you through the Akatsuki and my brother." He said his smirk fading.

"B-brother?" I asked not knowing who he was talking about.

I examined him once again seeing if I could point anything out. Black eyes, raven hair, and lack of expression. It seemed like Sasuke to me. Wait? Doesn't Sasuke have a brother?

"Sasuke? Are you Sasuke's brother?" I said finally looking into his eyes.

"Bingo." He said his smirk returning.

"Well missy don't think just because you know my brother I'll help you. I might need some persuasion if you get my drift." He explained his head leaning towards mine.

I punched him as hard as I could and he fell to his knees. As he got up he held his bleeding nose.

"You've got quite a punch but mines far better." He said then next thing I know his fist makes contact with my face. I went flying and hit the wall.

I slowly tried to get up I felt a cold liquid from the side of my head and noticed it was blood. I looked at Itachi and he just chuckled. He came over to me and grabbed me by the hair. He kneed me in the stomach making me cough out blood. He let go of my hair then threw my onto the cold floor.

I didn't even try to get up I just laid there bleeding I heard the door close. I guess he left I tried to move but it was too painful. I heard the door open again and felt warm hands touch my head. I was too weak to move the hands  turned my head and I saw a woman with blue hair. She had a sorrowful look on her face.

She grabbed a box and put some liquid on a piece of cloth then started dabbing the side of my injured head. She then wrapped it with gauze. After she put two pills and my mouth and gave me some water. After cleaning me up she whispered into my ear.

"Don't worry I'll find a way to get you out of here."
