Best Friends

Chapter 10

We saw Naruto go into a dark alley and we followed. We looked over the corner to see a couple of people talking to him. We could hear them so we decided to just stay at this distance.

"Naruto you came!" Yelled a guy with silver hair slicked back with what looked like a lot of jell.

"Yeah I told you guys I'd never leave you hanging." My innocent little Naruto said.

"Should we get to work?" Asked the guy with long blonde hair.

"Actually guys I came here to tell you I'm out. I can't be apart of this little group. I originally did this because I was a bad kid but I'm not anymore. So since you guys are all my friend I thought you would understand right?" Naruto said kinda sounding nervous.

The group of people looked at Naruto like they were ready to kill him but the orange headed one held them back.

"If that's your choice okay Naruto. I won't say it's the best choice for you but okay." The orange headed one said which made my stomach turn.

"Alright thanks for understanding!" Naruto said an started walking our way. OH NO!

We couldn't run anywhere he would catch us! The only option was hide! We ran into a nearby convenience store and hid behind the shelves. Just our luck Naruto walked in and was looking for something in the aisles.

He was heading towards Sasuke so he ran over to where I was. We saw hats so we put them on and held hands and pretended to be a random couple. Sasuke's hand was big and it felt like it fit mine perfectly.

"Hey uh could you guys move? I'm trying to get the chips right there." Naruto asked behind us.

We shuffled to the side not turning around. I knew he was looking at us weird.

"Uh are you okay?" Naruto asked standing in front of us. We immediately looked down.

"Your clothes kind of look like my friends. Yeah Sasuke was wearing that same black shirt and Hinata was wearing that shirt with a H on it.

"Isn't that a coincidence." Sasuke said in a deep voice.

"Yeah it is huh?" Naruto said looking us up and down. Oh no! Is he catching on?

Naruto grabbed our hats and threw them on the floor. I panicked!

"Hinata? Sasuke! What are you guys doing here this late?" Naruto asked looking at us suspiciously.

He looked at our hands and I noticed I was still holding Sasuke's hand so I was about to let go when Sasuke squeezed it. I looked at him confused and he mouthed "just go with it." I nodded and looked at Naruto.

"We're actually on a date!" Sasuke said sounding a little to happy for his personality.

"Ehhhh?!" Naruto shouted. I felt just like him right now! What the hell is Sasuke thinking!

"Is it true Hinata?" Naruto asked his looked sad.

I just nodded since I was at a loss of words.

"Prove it then!" Naruto shouted in anger.

Next thing I know my lips are being attacked by Sasuke's. His lips were cold It sent chills down my spine. The kiss lasted until we heard feet running.

I looked up to see the blonde disappeared. Why did he just leave like that? Was he mad? Wait why would he be?

I was in my thoughts when Sasuke snapped me out of it.

"Hinata-" Sasuke started but a ding cut him off.

He looked at his phone and cursed he then turned his attention towards me.

"Hey uh could I sleepover at your place?" Sasuke asked looking at his phone still.

"Of course yeah. What's up?" I asked curious.

"Itachi brought a girl home and told me not to come home." Sasuke said I could see his face sadden.

Itachi was always doing things like this to Sasuke and of course I felt bad for him.

"We should get going." I said walking towards my house.

When we got there I had to go climb onto my balcony to get in. Since I didn't want Neji knowing I was out. We walked in and I gave Sasuke a spare blanket and pillow. He made a bed on the floor and he took his shirt off?!?

"Sorry Hinata but it's super hot." Sasuke explained folding his shirt and putting it on a chair.

I turned on my fan and took quick glances at Sasuke's body. He looked VERY attractive right now. Ugh I'm such a perv man! I took a shower and came out in shorts and a shirt I looked like a 50 year old guy who still lives at his moms.

I noticed Sasuke looking at me.

"Something wrong?" I asked putting my hair into a messy bun.

"N-Nothing." Sasuke stuttered!!! He just stuttered! What is up today?!

"Okayy." I said walking over to my bed but tripping over the guy on my floor!

I fell on top of him.

His face moved closer to mine.

It was like his face was some kind of magnet.

Our lips touched.

It sent chills down my spine.

We kissed until I felt it was wrong. It was the second time we kissed today. Except this time it wasn't fake we intentionally kissed. I was at a loss of words and looking into those onyx eyes wasn't helping.

He leaned in for this kiss again but I stopped him. This wasn't right my feeling are telling me NO. Sasuke's like my brother this is weird!

I got off of Sasuke and sat on my bed. It was super awkward as I put my head under the covers to hide me shame. This really isn't my day is it?!  Neji knocked on my door. I quickly scrambled to my feet and  walked to the door. I ordered Sasuke to put his shirt on and he laid under the blanket as if he was asleep.

I faked a sleepy face and walked over to the door. I opened it and there stood my cousin who saved me from making a awkward silence because I don't like Sasuke that way!

"Hinata are you alright? I heard very concerning noises." Neji explained examining me.

"No I'm fine but I'm a little tired so could you go?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Ah yes sorry to bother you. Goodnight Hinata." Neji said and left.
