Chapter 17

The two idiots and I watched tv in our room as I heard someone knock on the door. I assumed it was Hinabi coming home from school so I opened it without hesitation. I looked to see an envelope on the floor in front of the door. I turned my head looking around to see anyone who might have left it but I didn't see anyone.

I grabbed the envelope and closed the door heading back up to my room.

"Who was there?" Asked Sasuke

"No one they just left an envelope." I said showing them the flimsy thing.

Naruto looked at it and his eyes shot wide open as if he'd seen a ghost. Sasuke and I looked at him strangely as he struggled to say something.

"G-guys that letter .. give it to me." He said sounding more serious then I'd ever heard before. I decided to just not ask questions and give it to him.

He opened the letter and not even a second letter his expression changed to complete horror. I walked over to him and snatched the letter.

"What is wrong with you why are you being so weird?" I asked him clutching the letter in my hand.

"Hinata give it back don't read it yet." He said trying to grab the letter from my hand.

I pulled back and opened it. He was still trying to snatch it out of my hand so I got Sasuke to hold him. I read it aloud.

"Dear Hyuga family
          We have noticed that you are close with the Uzumaki boy Naruto. Bring him to us and we won't hurt your precious little girl Hinabi. Come to the abandoned arcade at 12:00 sharp with him and we'll make an exchange.

Sincerely Akatsuki"

I dropped the letter tears were streaming down my face. This was all because of Naruto. All these things happening I knew from the beginning but I didn't let it bother me and now they have Hinabi.

I looked over at Naruto who's head was down. I walked over to him and grabbed his face harshly looking him in the eye.

"You've got 1 minute to explain yourself Naruto." I said glaring at him.

"I-I was a former Akatsuki member and then recently quit because you guys meant so much I couldn't keep doing those horrible things. When I resigned they told me I was going to regret it or something but I didn't think much of it at the time. I'm sorry I got you into this situation." He explained looking at us his eyes full of sorrow.

I took a deep breath and thought about my situation. It took a couple of minutes but I came to a conclusion.

"Naruto." I said

"Yeah Hinata?" Naruto said looking at me.

"We're going to give you to them." I said quietly.

"What?! You can't you know what they'll do to me?" Naruto said pleading.

I didn't want to have to do this I love Naruto so much but my sister she's family she comes first. I looked away from his saddened eyes and felt mine tear up.

"Sasuke help me out here?" Naruto said looking over at his best friend.

Sasuke had a monotone look with just a hint of sadness as he looked at Naruto.

"What ever Hinata says I'll go along with.....sorry Naruto." He said looking away from him.

"So that's how it is huh? You're just going to betray your best fucking friend?! After everything we've been through together I thought you guys loved me?!" Naruto screamed tears streaming down his face.

I couldn't look at him anymore I turned away and gestured to Sasuke. Sasuke grabbed both of his hands and Naruto struggled to get loose.

"Get off me!" He yelled trying to kick Sasuke.

We found some rope to tie his hands and put a piece of tape over his mouth. I felt so bad but Hinabi.. I took Neji's spare car and drove off with my two Best Friends.

Short chapter sorry !! &I also ahsjsbdndnd sorry I've been gone so long a lot happened I'm not gonna make excuses but I'm back and I'll wrap things up here.
