~*~Chapter 20~*~

~3 years later~

"Ready to go, mate." I asked as I stared at a worrisome Niall who sat at the end of the well made bed, running his hands through his blond hair, with his now showing brown roots.

He nodded. "Y-yeah. I'm ready." He gulped. He stood up and let out a shaky breath.

"You know, she will be real happy to finally see you. She has grown up so much from the last time you saw her in person. Also matured, a lot. She isn't the lost, little girl I brought home 4 years ago." I informed him. "And also, the kids, they're awesome. They're different from any other kid I've seen in my life. They seem to be more wiser than kids their age." I told Niall. Finally, after 3 years, me and the lads have finally convinced him it was time to see Cassandra.

His eyes flashed hurt, regret, and sadness. I think I even saw hate through them. That's one of the things about Niall, you can tell his feelings through his eyes. His eyes always seem to give him away.

"I didn't know." He said in small voice that you would of thought as a whisper, but it was quieter than that. He seemed to be on the edge. As if he was about to cry. I gently patted him on the back.

"Don't worry, mate. I bet she'll forgive you." I tried to reassure him. He nodded in response and we walked out and left in the car to the location we are going to meet Cassandra and the rest of the gang at.

"Mummy? How much wongew?" Asked Ariana as she sat on her car seat in the back of the car. Perrie and I chuckled at her disability to saw her 'l's and 'r's.

"Not much, love." I responded as I turned to face her. Perrie was driving, so I had nothing to worry about. Well, not counting the kids. Andrew, Ariana, and Raja, Perrie and Zayn's baby girl. She was so adorable. She was a year younger than Andy and Ana (those are the nicknames the gang and I made for them).

"We're here!" Shouted Perrie from the driver side of the car. I let out a shriek and she ends up laughing at me as I hit my head on the roof of the car.

"Aww! No need to yell in my ear." I say, trying to ease the pain my head has suffered.

"No need to put your ear where I'm going to yell." Sassed Perrie snapping her fingers in a 'z' form with wide eyes. I laugh at her and get out the car.

"Fine." I huffed as she did a victory dance still on her seat. "Let's go before we're late. Help me with the kids?"

"Sure thing." She says as she also hops out of the car.

Once we get inside the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess as she lead us to the table where the rest of the group are.

Perrie, the kids, and I are greeted by a lot of hugs and kisses from the boys and their girlfriends. Niall wasn't here (no shocker there), but Zayn wasn't here either, so that was a little strange. "Where's Zayn?" I ask as we all take our seats. I sat next to Ana and an empty seat, as she sat next to her brother, Andy, who next to Liam and Sophia.

"He'll be here in a little bit." Answered Louis. I nodded. I felt tugging on my left arm, so I turned to face Ana looking at me with pleading eyes.

"Yes, love?" I ask her in a sweet voice.

"I have to go potty, mummy." She pouted. I nodded and stood up and grabbed her little hand in mine.

"We'll be back. Just have to take Ana to the bathroom." They all nodded.

I helped Ana in the bathroom since she was only a three-year-old, and then smoothed out both our dresses. I was wearing a light pink, silk dress that came up up to mid-thigh. Perrie, El, and Sophia said it complimented my figure and suggested I wear it tonight. The reason was unknown by me but it looked as if everybody else knew and I was the only one that didn't.

Anyways, Ana wore a white, sparkly dress with a pink ribbon tied around her small, little girl waist. Her curly, brown hair was put in a little bun up on top of her head. She looked so adorable. Especially when her and Andy stood next to each other since Andy was wearing a small suit and tie.

When Ana and I reached the table, I could see Zayn was already her. Before I knew it, Ana rushed to his side. She just adored him.

"Uncle Zayn!!" She shrieked as she ran as fast as her short, toddler legs could take her. The scene just put a smile on my face.

"There's my other princess." Zayn said as he bent down and picked Ana up and spun her around as her giggles filled the restaurant. The whole gang laughed at the scene. I couldn't help but laugh too.

"Hey, Cassandra? Look who decided to show up." Said Harry as he pointed behind me. I turned and came face-to-face with Niall.

"Niall?" I question. I asked to make sure. Because, as lame as it sounds, last time I saw him was in my dreams, and physically, he walked out my house - well, the house I was living at - really infuriated. I mean, how would you act if someone you cared about just got up, and left you being infuriated and came back 3 years later. Three years!

"Hey Cassandra." He said in a shy tone. Liam came up and patted him on the back.

"Man up, Niall. She's not going to bite." Liam jokes. "Right Cassandra?" He asks me.

"I make no promises." I joke back with my hands up in the air. They laugh at my horrible joke. 'Whatever' I heard Liam mutter as he left to go take his seat. I went to take mine and notice I was the only one with an empty seat next to them and that Niall would have to sit next to me. Oh well.

After a couple minutes of awkward silence overtook us, Niall says. "I'm really sorry, Cassandra. I really am." I turned to look at him and saw a sincere look on his face. He looked as if he was going to cry. I reached over and hugged him. His body went stiff at first, then relaxed as he started hugging me back.

"It's the past, Niall. Forget about it. And if it helps you sleep at night, then I forgive you." I whisper in his ear. I pull back and smile at him as he does the same.

"Finally!! They hugged!!" Cheered Louis as I bursted out laughing along with Niall and the rest of the gang. Even the kids.
