~*~Chapter 21~*~

The cold air bit my non-covered legs. It was a stupid idea to wear a dress today but I really didn't have a choice.

My jacket was secured tightly around my body. Tied around my waist. Both of my hands holding onto one of my each children's mitten covered hands. My heels clicked with each step I took.

"Here, let me open that for you." Said Niall once we got to his car. Perrie and Zayn left early because Raga was getting fussy from her need for sleep, and I ended up having to carpool with Niall. Not that it was a bad thing. I hope.

"Thank you." I tell him in response with a smile. With the door wide open, I put both my children in the car and put there seat belts on.

"Seat belts! So we can be save!" Yelled both my children while looking at each other with huge grins on their faces. Their going through a Dora phase right now and I just can't wait until they get out of it, even if it's cute.

Behind me, Niall starts laughing his head off, and let's go of the door to hold onto his stomach from laughing so hard. At this point, I started admiring him. His hair was almost completely brunette now with very little blonde left. It was also styled differently. His laughing was so beautiful that I would listen to it every day. He wasn't so skinny anymore, he had more meat on his bone and he looks so fit with the shirt he's wearing.

"Cassandra?" He asked breaking me out of my stare after a while. "Are you alright?"

"I missed you so much." I said reaching up and hugging him tight. Tears I didn't realize we're there, began to fall. I let an embarrassing sob out and he held me tight.

"Ha. I've missed you too. Now, let's go to your flat and we'll talk about it alright." I nodded. I had so many questions that ran through my head these past three years that would keep me up at night along with the cries of my twins.

He held me with one arm and closed the door of the car leading me to shotgun. Once I was in my seat, he went to his.

He drove for about twenty minutes until we reached our final destination. I wonder how he knew how to get to my house without asking me for directions. He opened my door and went and carried Andy in for me while I did the same with Ana. We walked inside and got into my home.

"This is a nice place." He said once we walked in.

"Thanks, and, um, can you bring Andrew to his bed?" I asked hoping I wasn't asking to much.

"Yeah, lead the way your highness." He joked as he followed me to the children's room. The room was nice if you asked me and it wasn't because I put everything together in there but it was genuinely nice. It had white curtains and had two little beds on either sides of the room. A wooden bookcase filled with all their coloring and picture books. And next to the bookcase, stood a toy box full of their toys that Zayn gave to them. The box had both their names written on it in such an artistic way that only Zayn could do and no one else.

"That's his bed. You can set him there." I pointed to the small bed with blue superman sheets that Louis and El got for him. Most of the things in this were given by either the boys or the their girlfriends or even both.

Once I tucked Ana in her own bed, Disney princess themed - since Liam kept on saying she was one of them and that he had to get them for her - I left to put on more comfortable clothes.

Once I walked out and into the kids room, I noticed Niall was whispering to Ana's sleeping body.

"Hey there little girl, how've you been. I'm sorry you barely even know me but, if your mom allowed me to anyway, I'm one of your uncles. Yeah, that's right, you've got yourself one more uncle. I bet you can't even count that high. Ha. But you're really beautiful, just like your mother." He started caressing her check with his thumb and leaned in to kiss her forehead. I knocked on the door before he could.

"Niall, we have to talk." I sternly in a whisper to reminded him. We came here to talk, not for him to kiss my children goodnight.

"Right, sorry." He apologized and got up to follow me, closing the door behind him.

I lead him to the living room and sat on one end of my white, leather couch. He sat on the other end. I had my arms crossed and my body turned towards him, giving him the look as if asking him to start talk.

"I'm sorry I ignored you for the past three years, Cassandra." He started off.

"You've already told me that. I want to know why and what made you want to talk to me again until now." I said with an aggressive tone.

"I needed to get things through my head." He stated calmly in a timid way as if he wasn't sure if what to say next.

"Things through your head. Wow. It wasn't like you were the one that was going to be a teen mom or anything, and you had to get things through your head." I said with venom in my words.

"No. I do understand that I wasn't going to be the one becoming a teen parent, but also understand that it was hard for me." He looked at me like a puppy who was just kicked by its owner. Heartbroken and lost, but I still wasn't going to put my guard down.

"How was it hard for you. I was the one who ignored by one of the few people they've ever trusted. I told you things I've never told anyone and now you're telling me that it was hard for you." I was fuming now. Sometime during my rant, him and I stood up. We were glaring at each other and his face was tomato red. Well then, this escalated quickly.

"Oh, I see, this is all about you, isn't it? Just because you were the one that got pregnant has to make you the one that's going through the hard time, now doesn't it? Well guess what Cassandra, you're not. I was dealing with the hurt from false hopes and dreams while you were only being ignored by one of your friends. I didn't just ignore you, I also blocked out the rest of the boys and only talked to them when we were on tour so don't you dare think you're so special now and think you were the only one." His face was so hard and cold. I've never seen him like this and I could also hear the honesty in his voice. It was also hurt and broken. All I could think about now was how I was being a bitch and how the boys must've felt because one of their best mates was ignoring them because of me.

"Niall, I'm so-"

"Of course, now you're sorry. You only live onto one side of the story not knowing how the rest of it fucking goes like the bloody press now don't you!" He was screaming at me now. "You only see what you want to see."

"Niall, calm down. Please stop screaming, you're going to wake up my kids." I desperately try to calm him down. But instead, he lets out a loud evil chuckle ignoring my attempt.

"Do whatever queen Cassandra says. It can't be anything but what she says because she's always right. Ha!" He now started laughing at me and angry tears were burning my eyes and making my eyesight blurred.

"Niall! Stop! You're scaring me!" I yelled at him and cowered down back onto the couch. I still couldn't believe the kids were still sleeping through all this yelling.

Was I the one that did this to such a carefree person. Did I break him without even knowing?
