Chapter 25

Erica's POV

After many tests with the doctor, it was confirmed that I did have a miscarriage. This resulted in many tears and lots of hair pulling. It mainly came from Liam and I but at one point, literally everybody in the house had cried a little bit. I could tell the stress and anger was starting to take its toll on everyone in the house. Maybe these trips that we were all taking is exactly what even needed.

The trip to Ukraine was a long one since we had to travel over Germany, Czech Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and what seemed like a billion other places in Europe. But it was worth it now that I wasn't sick anymore. Liam was surprisingly understanding about the miscarriage. I thought he was going to be pissed at me for not telling him but after a really long talk, everything was sorted out. I was still absolutely torn that I lost the little bundle of joy that was in my stomach but at the same time, I felt like a thousand bricks were lifted off my shoulders. I'm sure Liam felt the same way too. He didn't have to pay for child support, we didn't need to worry about a babysitter, and many more advantages to no longer being a soon-to-be mom. I'm not saying that losing the baby was good because I have never been more hurt in my life.

Liam and I were watching a movie together in the airplane when the plane started to shake violently. I freaked out and turned to Liam to grab his hand. I didn't realize it but I had a death grip on his hands and I turned to see my knuckles turning white. "Sorry," I sort of mumbled.

"That's okay, Love. It's just turbulence. We'll be okay. It's nothing to worry about." I leaned over the arm rest that divided our seats and rested my head into the crook of his neck to watch the rest of the movie with him. Plus I didn't have a lot of room to move anyway considering the fact that there was this morbidly obese man sitting next to me. Behind me, there was a family of four including a mom, dad, and a very whiny four and six year olds. I got the pleasure of sitting right in front of the four year old who threw a fit every five minutes and never failed to kick my chair every time she got mad. On top of that, the mother smacked her gum. I was on my last string of turning around and telling her to shut the hell up but because I was with Liam, and I didn't want to give him a bad reputation, I kept my mouth shut.

Liam saw the anger in my eyes as he squeezed my hand and told me there was only 10 minutes left before we landed. I bent over to start cleaning up my stuff when the four year old kicked my seat and sent me head first into the seat ahead of me. This time Liam turned around and decided to say something.

"Alright you little twerp, grow up and stop acting like a 1 year old because you just made my girlfriend hit her head on the seat ahead of her. And you!" he pointed towards the mom. She continued smacking her gum, holding her magazine and in the meantime, shot Liam a look of lack of care. "Learn to control your kids you lazy woman. Do you not see that your kid needs some attention? Learn parenting you unfit mother." I couldn't help but laugh my ass off at Liam's reaction. By now, everyone in the plane was looking at us with a look of horror on their faces. He looked back to the mom who was holding her screaming child in her chest.

The flight attendent came by and told Liam to cool it and sit back down. He looked at her, twisted dramatically in his seat and sat down with a thump. I expected the flight attendent to only say something to Liam and leave the lady and her screaming child alone but she walked one row backward and said, "Miss, I ask that you get your child to cut the screaming out because in case you haven't noticed, noise echoes in this plane and every one is starting to get quite annoyed." I laughed so hard I thought my stomach was gonna burst. I turned to Liam and his face was bright red as he tried to stifle a laughter that was about to erupt.

"This is not what I paid for! What disrespect people have now adays! Especially you!" She pointed to the flight attendent. "Don't think I'm not reporting you for this!" I felt the plane start to lower and get closer to the ground. The co-pilot came over the intercom and announced that when we land, everyone stay in their seats. When we landed, I saw the pilot and co-pilot come out and speak to the woman.

"Don't worry. You don't have to report anything, we heard it all," the pilot said. Fear was all over the flight attendent's face but the pilot quickly spoke up again. "We completely agree with what our flight attendent did and security will be here any second to escort you off the plane. Thanks for flying with Air Ukraine," he gave a polite smile at the end and the woman lost her head. Liam and I packed our bags up and as soon as we got off the plane, we practically fell to the ground laughing, high-fived each other and then continued onto the car that was waiting for us outside.

Liam's P.O.V.

I think that was the best flight I have ever been on in my entire life. Erica and I got in the car and we were still laughing,

"I'd say that was a pretty solid start to our trip," she wiped a tear from her eye because she was laughing so hard. We got to the hotel and checked into our room. We took the elevator up to the 6th floor and walked over to room 633. I opened the door to see a beautiful bathroom to the right of us with a shower, jaccuzzi, 2 sinks and even a nice toilet. Erica walked past me to admire the bed we had with a huge canopy over it. It had freshly washed white sheets that didn't have a single stain on them, a huge 58" flat screen tv, mini fridge and three beautiful lamps plastered around the room. I could see the excitement in Erica's eyes and as if on que, we dropped our bags and ran towards the bed. Both of us did superman jumps through the air and landed on our stomachs. I lay there thinking about what we were going to do today and Erica noted the silence.

"Babe, you okay?" she asked.

"Perfect," I smiled. I looked over at her so our noses were almost touching. "Just thinking about how great this trip was going to be and what we can do today."

We were engulfed in these huge feather comforters that felt like we were laying on clouds. Erica turned to look at me, our feet hanging off opposite sides of the bed so her head was upside down to me. Immediately she moved closer and kissed me. It wasn't just a kiss though. Things started to get a little heated. I picked her up and placed her down so that her head was on the pillows and climbed on top of her. My shirt was already off and I could tell that something was going to go down.

It was only our first hour there!
