Chapter 29

Beth's P.O.V. 

I knew something was up between Sara and Niall! Why else would they go out alone for groceries? I couldn't believe I fell for that stupid idiot for so long. I looked over to my left and realized Erica wasn't in the passenger's seat. Whatever. Niall and Sara could give her a ride. 

I sped home going 20 kilometers over the speed limit. I was so mad that I actually began to shake. When I pulled up in front of the house, I slammed on the breaks, turned my car off, swung the door open, hopped out and slammed it shut with all my power. I stormed inside and slammed the front door too, passing everyone who was sitting at the kitchen table. Harry ran after me to see what was going on.

"Beth!" 

"Screw off, Harry!" I yelled, not looking back. I walked all the way to mine and Niall's room and slammed the door. Seconds later, somebody knocked. "Beth, open up."

"I DON'T WANT TO TALK. LEAVE!" I screamed. He didn't push the issue anymore. I sat on my bed thinking about what I was going to do. Everyone tried coming to the door to talk to me but I ordered them all away. 

The guy that I loved with every bone and every single ounce of strength in my body had cheated on me. I trusted him with my life and I told him secrets that I haven't even told Erica. I sat on my bed and cried at the fact that he would do this to me. Did I do something wrong? 

Tears were flowing freely as I lay there in the silence of my own thoughts. Again, there was another knock at the door. 

"B?" It was Niall. Anger rose in my body again. I stormed to the door and swung it open, glaring at the love of my life who looked more hurt than I've ever seen before. 

"What the hell do you want?" I snarled. He looked down at my tear stained face and tried to grab my cheeks in his hands. I backed away and glared at him again. I noticed a tear escape his left eye. 

"Beth, I need to explain."

"Explain what? That you cheated on me?" He guided me into the room and shut the door behind him.

"I didn't cheat on you-" I interrupted him. 

"Then what did you do, Niall? I trusted you with my life! You were the first guy I actually loved! I told you secrets that I never even told Erica! I felt safe and happy around you and I never felt like I had to hide anything or be anybody but myself around you! I was crazy about you and when you and I weren't together, I didn't know what to do with myself! I always thought you were the greatest guy alive and that guys like you only existed in movies!" My anger subsided into pure sadness and Niall was crying now too. 

"Beth," he started. I looked up at him and waited for his next excuse. "We were planning your surprise party. I grabbed Sara's hand to pull her through a crazy crowd so I wouldn't lose her."

"Bullshit, Ni! How do you expect me to believe that?" 

"Because it's true!" He yelled. 

"Get out, Niall." I escorted him to the door and slammed it shut behind him. I hadn't cried that hard in I don't even know how long. I turned around, ran to my closet and grabbed a duffle bag, throwing it on my bed. I ran to my dresser and grabbed whatever I could and started throwing what I needed in there. When I was finished, I stormed out of the room. 

Just as I turned the corner, a dark figure caught my eye. I jumped back and gasped. 

"Beth, please-" I pushed past Niall, grabbed my car keys and left. He ran after me and I left him standing there on the side of the curb as I drove off. My tears still hadn't stopped because I was that heart broken. My phone would not stop going off the entire time I was driving.
