Chapter 22:
Erica's POV
We were leaving in 3 hours. My morning sickness was still bothering me and I was scared it was going to get worse on the plane. At the same time, I was really excited to go back to my hometown where I was born 19 years ago. I think Beth and Sara were excited too. Sara's parents heard about the tumor in Sara's brain and they became really worried so Sara was going to visit them for a day to let them know that she is okay. She told her parents to stay home. She didn't want them wasting money on a flight to make sure she was okay when she had all of us here to make sure.
"Are you packed, Love?" Liam asked.
"Yeah. All packed and ready to go," I said. It was getting more and more awkward to talk to Liam every day. Soon enough, my baby bump is going to start to show and I won't be able to hide it anymore. We all piled into the vehicle and headed for the airport. It was only going to be a three day trip. The funeral was on saturday and the boys had to be back by Sunday because of a concert they had on Monday.
We arrived at the airport 2 hours before our plane arrived and made it to Canada in a solid 8 hours. By the time we got there, it was 7:00pm Canada time, which would have been 2:00 in the morning in England. We were all pretty tired but we decided to tour Edmonton a little bit anyway. We went to City Hall and played by the fountains, then we went out for a late supper and by then, decided to call it a night.
The next morning we went to West Edmonton Mall and did some shopping. It was our free day before the funeral. Sara decided to stay back and go to her house to see her parents but she encouraged us to go without her. Beth drove everyone because besides myself, no one had any idea where they were going. One turn and they would have been lost. We went out for supper again and while everyone was heading back to the hotel, Beth and I took a drive to go see Sara and her parents because we used to be really close with the family before we moved. After the visit, we all went back to the hotel and went to our seperate rooms. Taylor was with Zayn, Louis was with Sara, Harry invited Jordayna to his room and she accepted, I was with Liam, and Beth was with Niall all in seperate rooms.
Harry's POV
It was the morning of the funeral. It has only been less than a week since Christina left but I miss her with every bone in my body. Wrong circumstance to finally get to see her but I was really excited to visit and get to hang out with her a little bit. I was also excited but nervous to meet her family. We showed up at the church and snuck up on Christina. She had tears in her eyes but as soon as she turned around and saw us, she froze and her mouth dropped. Zayn, Liam, Louis, Niall, Beth, Sara, Erica, Taylor, Jordayna and all stood there looking at her. She ran to us and jumped in to the middle of our group as we all hugged her.
"What are you guys doing here?" She laughed.
"We came for the funeral. Plus it was a good excuse to come and see you," I winked. She giggled and looked away.
"Thanks for coming, you guys. It really means a lot to me," Christina smiled. We all smiled back and left her to be with her family. In the meantime, we walked into the church to take our seats and get ready to begin the memorial service.
It was about two hours long, considering it was an Italian service, they had to do the entire rosery, but it was a nice memorial. I constantly glanced over at Christina and as soon as the service was over, I walked up to meet and give my condolences to her family. They seemed very pleased to meet me, which made me feel a lot better. After 10 minutes of talking, they invited all of us to join them in the luncheon. It was 4:00 in the afternoon by the time everyone started to go home so we invited Christina to come hang out with us.
