Prologue

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. That's where I'm from. I moved to Mullingar when I was 10. I am 15 years old now. My family moved to Ireland because my mom got a job offer here and my dad wasn't very successful in his. Fortunatley, my mom and my best friend, Erica's, mom got the exact same offer so she moved to Ireland too. 

I was sitting on a park bench thinking about how much my life had changed when I heard a loud, adorable laugh. I turned around to see a short, blonde hair, blue - eyed boy standing about 10 feet away. 

"Hey Greg! Give me back my chicken!" the blonde yelled and ran after him.

"Never!" He yelled while trying to run away.

I started laughing. I could tell they were brothers because they looked a lot alike. All of a sudden, the blonde trips in front of me, chicken flying everywhere. He got up and sat on the bench a couple feet away from me. 

"Sorry 'bout that," he said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Tripping in front of you and scaring you," he answered shyly. I laughed because he was apologizing for something so pointless. 

"That's no problem, you didn't scare me," I said still giggling. 

"I'm Niall," he said, putting out his hand, clearly signalling a hand shake. I really liked that name. Niall.

"I'm Beth," I said returning the handshake.

"What a pleasure to meet you," he said, winking. His blue sparkly eyes that looked like the ocean were staring into my green ones. 

"You too," I said, starting to blush.

"Do you want to come with me to Nandos? I need to make up for the chicken that I spilled," he asked with hope in his eyes.

"I would love to," I said getting up from the bench.

Hi Everyone. I really hope you like this fanfic and what's to come. I just want to indtroduce myself. I'm Beth, the main updater but my friend Erica is my partner in crime in writing this fanfic. I  don't believe in long author's notes, I just wanted to introduce myself. Thanks everyone, enjoy.
