From the Beginning (One Direction Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Chapter 1 

Beth P.O.V.    

It has been a year and a half since I met Niall at the park. We became best friends and shared a lot in common. One thing I noticed about about Niall is that he really liked to sing and his is absolutely amazing at playing guitar. He would sing to me when we hung out and even to Erica when we all hung out. 

I heard my phone buzz and I ran to it. 

From: Nialler :)

"I have news, meet me at the park in 10." So many things ran through my head. Did he have a girlfriend? I hope to God that he didn't! That would ruin everything! Was he moving?! I panicked as I ran out the door and hopped on my bike. I got to the park and saw Niall. As quickly as I could, I hopped off my bike but ended up tripping over a small log. Niall ran to me. 

"Oh my goodness, Beth! Are you okay?!" he basically shouted, pulling me up.

"In my head that went a lot smoother," I laughed getting up with the help of his hand. "So what's the news?!" I yelled. There was no way I was going to allow him to beat around the bush. 

"Well," he said, pausing for dramatic effect. "I'm audtioning for the X-Factor!" He yelled. 

"HOLY CRAP, ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" I screamed and jumped into his arms. 

"Yes! And I want you and Erica to come with me!' Niall exclaimed. 

"That's great, Ni! I'm honored! When do we leave?" I asked. I was bursting with excitement at his suggestion. I was so honored that Niall asked me to go. 

"We leave tomorrow. Is that okay with you?" he kind of quietly, thinking I would get mad at him. 

"Hell yeah! I'm so excited. Holy I have to get home and pack. Call me tonight, okay?" I hugged him and ran off. I heard a faint "okay, bye B!" behind me. I smiled to myself. 

I raced home with all my power on my bike and told my parents the news. Apparently Niall's mom talked about it with my mom already and everything was already planned. I ran to my room and found my suitcase laying there on my bed waiting for me. I called Erica to see if she heard the news too. 

"Yeah, I was told an hour ago! Niall's mom called my mom," she squealed on the other end of the phone. I let out a high-pitched "ahh!" as we celebrated together in excitement. 

"Are you packed?" she asked. I had just finished stuffing the last of the stuff in my suitcase when she asked. 

"Yep!" I said, struggling to close it. 

 "Call Niall. I'm packed up and ready to leave." she said.

"Alright, I'm on it. Bye Erica," I hung up quickly and dialed Niall's number. 

 "Hello?" I heard his voice on the other line. 

"Are you ready?" I was still excited. 

He laughed. "Hell yeah!"

"Okay, remember, our flight leaves in 3 hours," I responded.

"Yep, I'll be at your place to pick you and Erica up in 20 minutes." 

"Okay bye," I quickly hung up my phone and finished packing. I didn't realize 20 minutes went by until Erica walked into my room. 

"Your parents let me in," she said. I jumped becuase I was so deep in thought which caused her to laugh. 

"Okay, Niall should be here any minute," I said and dragged my suitcase down the stairs and not a minute too soon. Just as I hit the bottom stair, the doorbell rang. I raced to it, pushing my sister and mom out of the way to see a beautiful blonde boy with an amazing smile there. I invited him inside quickly and he grabbed a couple of our bags and headed to the car. After lots of goodbyes and a couple of tears shed by my mom, we were on the road.
