So it's your first time writing a book, right?
Here's a few tips on writing.
Tip 1: Simplicity.
For a beginner, this is important.
Being a beginner, you're going to make mistakes if you just plan on writing big.
Start small.- Start with simple words. Words that you understand. Words that you know how to use properly. Don't go around writing big words.
- Start with simple sentences; It helps you out of the punctuation predicament. It also ensures minimal mistakes. More importantly, it enables assimilation.
- Start with a small number of pages in a chapter.
This rule is also for me. It doesn't matter how many pages there are, as long as what you've got is quality. It may be six pages in one chapter, it may be four, as long as your pages are devoid of mistakes, you're good to go.Starting small, will help hone your writing skills. It's not about quantity, it's about quality.
Though, as you continue to write, you can start to increase your words, sentences, and pages. By then, you'll be able to write big.
