Do not over write. Very important.
Write what you know is important. Don't go writing things that have no reason to be written.
All these tips, are tips that I realize while writing.
Instead, save your unnecessary additions for your Author's Notes.
If it's not for the story,then it's for the Author's notes.Some people like to read their stories uninterrupted.
Unnecessary info is one of those flaws of a good story. You can describe in detail, as long as it relates to what you're describing.
Check out rotxinxpieces to know what I'm talking about. She doesn't, I repeat, doesn't write unnecessary things, but she does a fine job of describing.
