If you enjoy reading adventure novels, write adventure novels. Don't go writing romance.
Why? Well you see, if you're an adventure lover, who engages in writing romance, let's just say, your story may not turn out very well.
Why won't it turn out very well?
Well you see, as a lover of adventure novels, it's easier for you to write adventure novels than romance novels. You'll also find out that you want to give your best into writing adventure stories.
You can be a lover of different genres. That way, you can even write both genres.
Just make sure to write what you know, what you like.
