"I might kind of sort of have the biggest crush on Yukine."  I told Yato.

"Oh...uh...wow.." Yato said. "And your worried he doesn't like you back?" He asked. "I don't think he likes me, and I honestly feel like he doesn't care. Am I overreacting?" I replied with. Yato put a hand on my shoulder. "Trust me. You are important to him. He's probably just so used to having just me and Hiyori around, that he doesn't exactly know what to do with you. Just give it time, and he'll talk to you often." He told me. I thought about it for a second, and thought that maybe that was true. "I'm gonna leave now, okay?" Yato said. I nodded, and he did his teleporting-God-thing. Later, I decided I'd go on a walk. I told Yato I'd be leaving, then walked out the door. I wandered around the city, until I saw a happy couple. Their smiles...it just annoyed me. I punched one of them in the face. Hard. One of them was on the ground bleeding while the other one called for help. No one could see me, so who cares? I heard footsteps. "[n-name]!" I heard him scream. "Yukine..?" I whispered to myself.  He ran to me. He caught his breath, then told me: "Yato...he's in trouble...he's really blighted..." He said. We ran back to the shrine, and saw Yato on the ground, purple spots covering his body. There was a borderline between Yato and the shrine. Daikoku called out to us. "Both of you, take off your shirt!" He yelled. "What? Why?" I asked. "Just do it. He's not trying to be a perv." Yukine whispered to me. Everything looked fine, well for Yukine at least. As for me..."WHAT ARE THESE?!" I screamed. Yukine stared at my back in fear. He put his hands on my shoulders, and said: "D-Don't worry, it'll be alright. Just stay calm. Don't think." I waited. For nothing, really.
Soon, Daikoku and two other people came to the shrine. Yukine let go of me. "Don't turn into a phantom." He said, backing away. Those were the last words I heard from him before the abloution.
