I was too busy daydreaming on what his answer would be, so I didn't hear he real one. Hiyori came running over, and asked Yukine and I if we wanted to come over and stay the night at her house. "What about me?" Yato asked. "No way! The last time you came to my house, you stole some of our food! And to top it off, I didn't even invite you, you snuck in!" Hiyori yelled. Yato grumbled. "Fine. Then I'm keeping [name]." He muttered. Me and Yato walked back to the shrine, while Yukine and Hiyori went to her house. Yato looked at me and said, "Don't worry, this is all part of my plan." He explained what to do, then We put his plan into action. "So, [name], what do you think you'll do tonight?" Yato asked. He made sure was loud enough for Hiyori and Yukine to hear, too. "Oh I don't know, maybe kiss some boys or something." I said loudly. I heard Yukine walking towards Yato and I. His words started getting louder. "Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, noPE, NOPE, NOPE!" He muttered. Or yelled. Yuki grabbed my hand and said to Yato, "I'm taking her with me." Yato stood there silently. "Okay." He said, then walked off. "I seriously did not expect that reaction." Yukine said in surprise. I smiled, because I would be able to hang out with Yuki, and a girl for once.
Well, one that isn't a god. The nice thing was, my master supported my feelings for my friend.
