I wandered inside the house, and I found it was quite nice. Kofuku showed me our room, it had three futons, one that looked particularly new. Must've been mine. Kofuku turned around and looked at me. "You must be tired! Why don't you go to bed?" She said. "After what happened to me today, that sounds good." I replied with. I curled up in the futon, and had a good talk with myself. "Looks like I'm a regalia now. What am I gonna do? I found out that I am literally owned by a god. I mean, there's Yukine, but he didn't seem that excited about having a friend. I hope I am useful to Yato." I said to myself. After this I fell asleep, curled up in the blankets. After a while, I heard the door creek open. "Shhh! Don't wake her up!" I heard Yato whisper. "Huh?.." I mumbled. "Oh...we woke you up..sorry." Yukine said. "..No, it's alright. "Do mind sleeping with a lamp on? Yukine is afraid of the--" Yato was interrupted by Yukine covering his mouth. "Dark?" I asked. "Um...yeah." Yukine muttered. I replied with: "Yeah. It's ok." Yato went to lay down, and Yukine lay down on the futon beside me. His amber eyes shined in the light. I stared into them, watching as they stared back at me. He smiled, and whispered, "Goodnight, [name]."
I closed my eyes and thought to myself, "I think I'm going to like this boy."
