Tenjin heard the news. "Your new regalia is a blessed vessel. You are quite the lucky God, Yato." Tenjin told Yato. "Yeah, but I wanna have shrine maidens like you!" Yato replied. "Well, why don't you ask [name]?" Tenjin said. "I guess you're right. [name], you are now my shrine maiden!" Yato told me. I just shrugged. "Sure." When we were at the shrine, Yato handed me the maiden's outfit. I put it on, then came out. "You look good." Yuki told me. "Aww, thank you my little snowflake." I answered with. "That's cute nickname you got for him." Yato said. "I agree. His name, Yuki, means snow. So he is snow." I replied. Yato saw a phantom in the distance. "Yato, change Yuki into his regalia form. I'll go kill it." I told him. "Why?" Yato asked. "You are my master, correct? I must protect you." I answered. "Woah, it's like she's got a whole new personality." Yato mumbled. "I like it. She sounds very powerful and strong." Yukine said. "What do you mean by that?" Yato questioned. "She went from a young girl, to a strong woman. She may never grow physically, but going through all of things she's gone through has made her grow emotionally." Yukine answered. Yato was left speechless. Yukine was changed into a regalia, then I left to kill the phantom. Yukine told me something on the way back. "I will never grow." He said. "Yes. Neither will I." I answered. "That's why I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with you. We may not be married, but I'm gonna stay with you. Forever." He told me. And with that, Yukine and I lived out our lives together.
