Chapter Five

Nathaniel was staring at me in the cafeteria the next day.

To be honest, I enjoyed being stared at. Sure, it makes me sound attention-seeking, but when you get zero romantic attention from boy around, being the object of someone's attention actually feels really nice.

So I did the natural stuff and sashayed my ass to his table.

Resisting the urge to park my butt on his lap (hormones, I know, right?), I sat across him, snapped my fingers and smiled at him.

Just so you know, I don't smile very often.

Instead of feeling blessed, this dude just stared at me moodily.

'What?' He snapped.

'I don't know, you're the one who's staring.'

'Whatever.'

'If you want to know, I have some information.'

He narrowed his eyes.

'The day before Oliver, Rose and Robin, y'know,...I received a note.'

'And?'

'It mentioned them, each time.'

'Who was it from?'

'If I knew, I wouldn't be here.'

He was silent. Then looked up at me and asked:

'Why are you telling me this?'

'Because,' I stood up, 'I agree with you. I think Robin was murdered.'

'Why this sudden change of heart?'

'I,uh, thought over it. Your argument was quite logical.'

Nate( cute, no?) stood up as well.

'So what do you think we should do?'

'Wait for the next note?'

Now, don't expect me to have watched a billion mysteries and immediately know what to do.

However, Nathaniel seemed to think this was a good plan.

'Alright.'

And he walked away.

What was I supposed to do, give him a call if I got another note from some psycho, who was MAYBE on a murdering spree?

I think not.

But me, being a basket case, decided to do exactly that.

The note was in my bag when I got home. Don't know how it got there.

Now that I think about it, if I knew who sent that and how, it would've been much easier solving out this mess.

I called Nate.

He didn't pick up.

OHHHH SNAP!

Hi guys!

Alright, I said I would be on hiatus, but I had some free time, so I decided to update.

Tomorrow is my English exam, so this technically counts as grammar practice, doesn't it?

What ever.
