Ashton age 12: This was your first football game with being in the marching band. You played the piccolo and it was your first year and you were scared. Your brother Ashton was taking you to the school early so you could prepare like everyone else. "I'm excited to see you tonight", Ashton said with a grin. "I'm scared", you blurted out. "You'll be fine you rehearsed the routine with the band and you've been practicing the music so you'll do great", Ashton said. You pulled up to the school and got out. Ashton walked towards the field to get a seat. Your band director greeted you and you walked over to get changed into your red and black uniform (random colors). The band was ready and you marched to the stands to wait until halftime. You had a solo and you didn't tell Ashton because he thought there were other girls in your section. The truth was nobody played the piccolo but you so if you messed up there was nobody to blame but you, and that's what made you nervous. Your band director called the band over and you got ready to perform the show. You felt that you were actually doing really good, you moved in unison with the band and played all the right notes. Then you marched to the 50 yard line and began your solo. Out of the corner of your eye you saw Ashton grinning like an idiot. You finished the show and went to the stands until the game was over. The band went in to get changed and Ashton was waiting for you outside. "I'm so proud of you", Ashton said hugging you tightly. "Thanks", you said tiredly. "You never told me", Ashton said still grinning. "I wanted to surprise you", you said smiling back at him. "Well you sure did", Ashton said as he drove you home.
Luke age 17: You were just like your older brother Luke. You started making covers when you were 15 with your three friends Marissa, Cassy, and Leila. Now your having your first show of your supporting tour. The band you were supporting was well 5sos and they were so excited to hear you play. "Y/N we're out in five", Cassy told you. "You excited", Luke said from behind you. "I'm a little nervous but yeah I'm excited to", you said. "Well we're glad to have Y/B/N tour with us", Luke said with a grin. "Yeah", you said. "Come on we're on", Lelia told you. "Good luck", Luke said as you walked onto the stage with your band mates. "Hello Sydney", Marissa shouted behind her drum kit. "We are Y/B/N and we are proud to play for you tonight", Cassy said holding her bass. "This song is called Y/S/N", Lelia said starting to play her electric guitar along with you. You began to sing the lyrics to the song with your band and you heard the crowd sing them back to you. You looked at the crowd and grinned continuing the song. You played three more songs and then introduced 5sos. Luke grinned at you as he passed and seconds later you heard a loud scream and grinned. "Maybe we'll have that someday", you said to your bandmates. "Yeah", Marissa said. Near an hour and a half later 5sos walked backstage. Luke saw you and ran over giving you a huge hug. "You guys did so good", he said. "You did to", you said. "The fans really love you", Luke said looking over to the crowd. "Yeah seems so", you said with a grin. Y/B/N and 5sos entered the bus and pulled out for the next destination. "I think you guys already have a fan base", Luke said with a chuckle. "Yay", you cheered.
Michael age 10: Tonight was your first band concert. Like your mother you played the saxophone and you started it in the beginning of the year plus your mom taught you how to play some things to. The date was December 15th and it was soon time to get ready. Each section got to pick from red or green on what to wear and your section of 5 people decided green. Your mom curled your red hair and helped you get on your green dress and white shoes. You were the lead of the saxophones because your mom taught you things the other kids didn't know. You were sad because your brother was on tour and couldn't make it. You told him you understood but you were sad. You kind of hoped he would be there but you realized he wasn't. You grabbed your saxophone, your music and your coat and walked out the door. Your mom went into the auditorium while you went to the band room. You saw your section and walked over to them. The kids names were Melanie, Todd, Liz, and Vince. You warmed up with your section then with the band. You soon walked out on the stage. It was dark in the auditorium so you couldn't see anyone. You played jingle bells, then the lights came on. You looked into the crowd and saw your mom filming then you saw your brother and his bandmates. You grinned widely and waved and Michael waved back. You played jingle bell rock and your last song was we wish you a merry christmas. The band walked back to the band room, you gathered your things and anxiously looked for your mother. You saw her and ran over only to be scooped up by Michael. "You did amazing I'm so proud", Michael said. "I love you", you said. He said it back to you and then set you down to see his band mates.
Calum age 18: You took a class in school called advanced music and in order to be in that class you had to play an instrument. You played the piano since you were 7 and you were rather good. In that class in the spring there would be a recital to give you your grade. Every person would perform individually and the person with the highest grade got a scholarship to the best music college in Sydney. You have been practicing your piece which was Fur Elise the full version for hours after school. You had to stay because the teacher said therefore you didn't know who was coming to get you afterward because your mom and dad had to work. You were assuming your sister Mali because the day before she promised to film it for your parents. Your best friend Addy was coming to see you to. That's who you were told was coming. The teacher called you over with the class and gave you the performing order. You were third which made you nervous. You walked on stage because it was your turn and you saw the three judges sitting at a table. You see your sister filming your best friend and then you see Calum and his bandmates. You grin. "What will you be playing", one of the judges asked. "I will be playing Fur Elise", you said walking over to the piano. You played the piece confidently then walked off the stage. Later the judges were about to announce the winner. "And the winner is Y/N Hood", the judges said. You heard your family cheering for you when you said your speech. You got the scholarship and went to go find everyone. You hugged your mom and dad sister and best friend and then Calum and his bandmates. "Congrats I'm so proud", he said. "Thank you", you said, going to celebrate.
