Ashton age 16: Samantha's pov
I walked home really nervous because I got an F on my Algebra 2 test. I would have to get it signed by my brother Ashton and I knew he would not be happy. I walked through the my door trembling. "Hey Samantha how was school?" Ashton asked from the table. "I n-need you t-to sign something." I said. I handed him my test with my trembling hand. Ashton sighed. "Come on Samantha you have to try." Ashton said. My mouth dropped. "I did I studied so hard!" I exclaimed. "CLEARLY YOU DID NOT SINCE YOU STILL FAILED!" Ashton yelled. "No phone for a week." Ashton said. I got my phone out of my pocket and threw it on the table running to my room. I eyed my bedroom window. The scene of Ashton yelling at me replayed in my mind. I popped my window open as quiet as I could. I jumped out of the window, feeling the cold wind whip through my hair. I put my black hood up and started jogging down the street. I sat on a bench at the nearest park to rest. It was already dark outside so nobody was there. I heard a clap of thunder rumble through the sky. It started to pour so I decided to run and try to shield myself from the rain in the playhouse.

I sighed and went upstairs leading to Samantha's room. I saw a figure under the covers. I pulled them back to see a bunch of pillows. I gasped when I saw her window open. "What have I done." I said pulling at my brown curls. I ran downstairs, slipped on a hoodie and ran out into the black night. I had to fine her quickly with how hard it was raining. Soon a couple feet ahead of my I saw a figure in the playhouse.
Samantha's pov
When I saw Ashton running towards me I didn't move I just let the tears roll down my face. "Samantha you had me worried sick!" Ashton yelled. "I-I'm s-sorry." I whimpered. "It's ok." Ashton said. He picked my shivering body up from the playhouse and hugged me. "I'm glad your ok." Ashton said. "Me to." I said. "You know your grounded for a week right." Ashton said giggling walking back with me. "Seems fair." I said grinning at him.Luke age 13: Samantha's pov
The night before my big science test I was sitting on my bed watching YouTube. I went to school the next day and scrambled to study a little bit. I took the test barely knowing any of the answers. I knew I was gonna be in trouble. My teacher handed me my test back. I flipped it over to see a bright red 54% marking on the top. I gulped nervously. Luke will not be pleased with me. I had to get my test signed by Luke which made everything worse. "Hey sweetie how was school?" Luke asked greeting me at the door. "Horrible." I said starting to tear up. "What's wrong?" Luke asked. I handed him my test. "Samantha did you study at all." Luke exclaimed, his voice rising. "I f-forgot." I stuttered. "YOU CAN'T FORGET ABOUT THESE THINGS SAMANTHA THIS IS HOW YOU FAIL!" Luke yelled. I ran upstairs to my bedroom, letting my tears flow freely. I had to get away some how. The only way out was my window. I climbed out the window and started running and didn't stop. I ended up running to my best friends house. Luke would never find me here.
Luke's pov
"How could I have done that!" I said to myself seeing Samantha's open window. I went outside having know idea where she went. I just ran into the black night worrying.
Samantha's pov
The front door opened and Luke walked in. I rolled my eyes and tried to walk away. "Samantha wait I want to talk to you." Luke yelled.
"What make it quick." You said clearly mad.
"Samantha I'm sorry everybody forgets I can call the teacher and get her to let you retake the test." Luke said.
"It's ok." You said.
"You know your losing your YouTube privileges right?" Luke asked. You shook your head and hugged your brother glad that you made up.Michael age 18: Samantha's pov
Senior year oh the joy. All except failing my biochemistry test. That's not good. I have to get it signed by my older brother Michael and I wasn't to thrilled about it.
"Hey Mikey can you sign this please?" You asked. Michael looked down at the paper and scowled.
"Samantha did you study?" Michael asked.
"Of course i did why would I have not I don't know why I failed." I said.
"YOU FAILED BECAUSE YOUR DUMB AND CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT YOU STUDY." Michael yelled. My mouth dropped. I always thought that I was stupid but now Michael confirmed it. I ran up to my room and jumped out my window.
I didn't even bother getting in my car and driving because Michael would see my car anyway. So I just ran until I was out of sight. Then I thought where I was gonna go. I decided to run to the school, my feet leaving footprints in the mud. I jumped the fence and ran under the bleachers by the football field.
Michael's pov
"I can't believe I called her stupid." I said to myself. I ran my hands through my bleached blonde hair and just ran outside. It was muddy from the previous days rain. I saw the footprints of her boots. I ran after them looking at the ground. They led to her high school. I jumped the fence and followed her footprints. Then I saw a figure under the bleachers.
Samantha's pov
I saw Michael jogging towards me. I wish it hadn't rained earlier so he couldn't see my footprints. I turned away from him. Maybe he didn't see me.
"Samantha why did you run away you had me worried sick." Michael yelled.
"I thought I could be here all the time so I won't be dumb." I said, my voice cracking.
"No Samantha your not dumb I'm sorry it was just one bad test you can take it again and I'll help you." Michael said.
"It's ok Mikey but I don't think that I can take it again." I said.
"It's ok your overall grade will be fine." Mikey said.
"You know your grounded right." Michael said.
"Yeah." You said taking his hand and walking back home.Calum age 12: Samantha's pov
Music wasn't my best subject even though my brother is Calum hood. So resulting in that I failed my music test. I was the only one in the family that wasn't musically talented. So I was scared for Calum's reaction.
"Hey how was school?" Calum asked. You simply just handed him your test shaking like a leaf.
"SAMANTHA IF YOU NEEDED HELP WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK." Calum yelled.
"I thought I knew it." I said shaking.
"WELL CLEARLY YOU DIDN'T." Calum yelled. I just ran upstairs and cried. I climbed out of my window in my room and jogged down the sidewalk. You jogged to a skate park a couple of blocks away.
Calum's pov
I have to find her I thought. She is only 12.
She wouldn't last out there long. I ran out into the pitch black night. She must be so cold how could've I done that. I'm a terrible person. I thought of her favorite place. The skate park. I ran there as fast as I could. It still took me a long time to find it in the dark.
Samantha's pov
I heard footsteps in the distance so I tried to scramble up the ramp but I couldn't I was to weak from crying. My loud pleas became desperate as the figure was closer.
"Samantha why would you run away." Calum yelled.
"I was scared." I said. Calum lifted me up the ramp so I could get out.
"It's ok I'm sorry." Calum said.
"Me to." I said.
"Your still grounded." Calum said laughing.
"I know." I said laughing with him.
