Maria's pov
My twins name was Hannah. She lived with me and my other siblings Harry and Lauren. My older brother Ashton looked after us. Ashton had just arrived home from tour and was looking after us. The only thing wrong is Hannah seeks attention for herself. Every time I try to spend time with him she always blames me for something she did to get attention.
I was quietly reading a book in my room when Ashton burst in.
"Maria what have you done!" Ashton exclaimed.
"What do you mean I was up here reading." I said shocked that he was yelling at me. I wasn't actually shocked this was the works of Hannah, this has been the third time I had been yelled at this week.
"Look what you did to Hannah's school project!" Ashton said holding it up. We had the same project. We always competed on grades since we were straight a students. The assignment was to make the layers of the Earth display. I had finished mine a day earlier.
"I didn't do it." I exclaimed.
"You just wanted a better grade." Ashton said harshly. Hannah smirked at you and then whipped up some fake tears.
"Ash will you help me?" Hannah asked.
"Of course darling." Ashton said.
I burst into tears I couldn't take it anymore. Maybe this family is better off without me. I don't even know if Harry and Lauren believe me. My decision was made I was going to run away. I was going to do it right before dinner. I grabbed my backpack out of the corner of the bedroom I shared with Hannah. I put a loaf of bread in with two water bottles. I put on a black hoodie and some shoes and packed my phone and other essentials into my backpack. I looked to the corner of my room and saw a picture of Hannah and I.
"This is better for the both of us." I said kissing the picture. I jumped out my window which wasn't that far of a drop. I went into the garage and got my bike. I decided that would be the safest transport. As soon as I pulled out it started to rain. I decided that I needed to hide under something with a roof until the storm calmed down. I knew the park always had a little shed thing that kids could sit under so I headed there.
I rode really fast down the sidewalk trying to get to the park. I then hit a rock. With the spend I was going I flew off my bike into a huge muddy wet puddle. I burst into tears at the pain on my side where I fell. I could see the shed so I just walked my bike over so I would be dry.
Hannah's pov
"Hannah go get Maria for dinner please." Ashton said to me noticing that she was the only one not at the dinner table.
"Ok." I said going up the stairs to get my twin sister. I walked in our room and gasped in horror. Our bedroom window was open with a note on her bed saying this is better for all of us. I ran down the stairs Maria had ran away and it's all my fault.
"Ashton Maria ran away and it's all my fault I blame her for everything I do for your attention." I said bursting into tears.
"How could you do that." Ashton said.
"I don't know we need to find her Ashton I don't know what I would do with out her." I said.
"I know it's raining we have to find her fast. Let's go." Ashton said pulling his hood up and running into the black night.
Ashton's pov
How could've I done this I'm a terrible brother poor Maria didn't do any of those things she was innocent. I yelled at her three times this week and now she ran away. I have to find here before she gets really sick. I thought to myself. I see the door to the little shack is closed and I see Maria's bike chained outside. I began to run thinking that she is in there and is safe and that I found her.
Maria's pov
I heard footsteps outside the shack. I wasn't going to give in that easily. I know it's Ashton who's gonna yell at me for running away. I'm not going out until he's gone.
"Maria open the door please." A gentle voice said to me. It was Ashton's voice he wasn't mad. I did miss him. Tears slipped from my eyes. They did love me they did come looking for me. I whipped opened the door and hugged Hannah so hard.
"I love you." I said crying. Hannah was crying to.
"I love you to I'm so sorry." Hannah said. Ashton's eyes welled up with tears at the sight.
"I forgive you." I said hugging him tightly.
"I love you Maria don't run away again please we love you." Ashton said crying. I hugged Harry and Lauren also.
"Let's get home so we don't get sick." Ashton said gathering us near him. I'm so glad that I have a loving family.
Now another year older Hannah and I are inseparable. We do everything together and don't compete. We are one big happy family.
