Ashton age 12: Your school bell rang and the school year was over. Students poured out of the school and got into cars and buses. You saw your brother Ashton waiting for you. "How was your last day?" Ashton asked starting the car. "It was fine nothing new." You said. "Do you think you passed?" Ashton asked. You hit him lightly. "Yes what's with all the questions?" You asked grinning. "Just thought I'd be polite." Ashton said rolling his eyes playfully. "What can we do I'm already bored." You said flopping down on the couch. "I was thinking we could go mini golfing and get ice cream." Ashton said. "Yes let's go." You said running back out the door. "Gosh you're excited." Ashton said laughing a little getting in the car. "I was bored already." You said. You and Ashton pulled up at the mini golf place. You picked a purple ball and Ashton picked a blue one. You got your mini golf clubs and headed to the course. You got a hole in one on the first hole. "This course is stupid." Ashton said missing the hole again. You laughed a little. "I win." You said when you both finished the course. "Yeah yeah." Ashton said putting his club back. "Time for ice cream." You said. It was a hot day so ice cream was the perfect thing. "What kind do you want?" Ashton asked. "Strawberry." You said. "I'm probably going to get cookie dough." Ashton said. He ordered your ice cream and you got a small table outside. "Thanks Ashton." You said after you finished your ice cream. "Your welcome sis I'm glad I get to spend this summer with you." Ashton said hugging you. You both got into the car and went home to watch a movie. You could tell this would be an amazing summer.
Luke age 8: Summer was your favorite time of the year. At a young age you hated school and longed for summer all year. Once the school bell rang despite the teachers yelling, you ran out of the school to your brother's car. "Hey hun how was your last day?" Luke asked as you got into the car. "Awful as usual." You said, your smile beaming. You were finally free and could sleep longer. "Is it really that bad?" Luke asked. "Yes." You said. "Well I have a surprise for you at home." Luke said. "Really?" You asked bouncing in the seat. "Yes really." Luke said laughing a little. "Yay!" You said putting your arms up. "You're silly." Luke said laughing and shaking his head. You arrived at home and ran into the house. Luke grabbed you before you could run anymore. "Slow down." He said laughing a little. He walked outside with you and the pool was cleaned. "I cleaned the pool so we could swim." Luke said. "I'll go get my bathing suit on." You said hugging Luke and running upstairs. You put on your bathing suit which was your favorite color. Luke was downstairs with his swimming trunks on. "Race ya." Luke said. You both ran to the pool. Luke beat you to the pool and jumped in. The water was reflecting the sun onto your skin. "It's not fair you got a head start." You said. He stuck his tongue out. You jumped in the pool getting him soaked. You laughed as he wiped the water from his eyes. He swam after you and splashed you a little bit. You spent your time in the pool having fun and swimming with Luke. You couldn't wait for the rest of summer.
Michael age 16: School had just ended and you didn't really care for school or summer. You don't get to spend the summer with your brother Michael and that really bummed you out. You didn't like school but didn't look forward to summer. You sighed and got on the bus. It would be another boring summer for you and then another boring school year. You had a long bus ride on top of it. You put your earbuds in and dialed out everyone. You arrived home and saw your mom unloading groceries. She waved to you. You gave her a gentle smile. "How was your day sweetie?" She asked. "Fine." You said. "I have a surprise for you in your room." She said. "Oh thanks." You said. You jogged up the stairs to your room and looked in your room. On your bed sat Michael with a bow on his shirt. "Surprise." Michael said. You ran over and hugged him so surprised. "I thought you were going to be away." You said. "I had to come back and see you." Michael said. "Movies?" You asked hopefully. "Let's go to the movies." Michael said going downstairs and grabbing his keys. Once you both got to the movies you got your favorite snack and went to the movie of your choice. You were very glad that Michael came to spend a couple of days with you. This made you have a better attitude about summer and this one was the best.
Calum age 18: Today was the last day of your senior year. You made it through all the struggles and hardships but also through the good times of high school. You were finally graduating. You've been looking forward to this moment for a long time and you were beyond excited. Your family drove you to the school for graduation. You were wearing your cap and gown which was the colors of your school. "I know how much your brother wanted to be here." Your mom said putting her hand on your shoulder. "It's okay he can't come to everything." I said. Your family went down to the football field where graduation would take place. You went to go find your friends. You felt a pang of sadness inside you, the one thing you wanted Calum to come to was your graduation. But, he can't make it to everything and he is busy and you understood that. Soon it was time to take your places in a line. You walked down the track with your class and took your seat among them. You saw your family in the crowd but you also saw someone else. Calum was sitting with your family along with his fellow band mates. You were so happy he actually made it. You listened to the speeches from your fellow classmates and got your diploma. You finally did it, you were graduated. When graduation ended your family met you on the field. "Thank you for coming." You said as you hugged Calum. "Your welcome you know I could never miss this." He said. You took some pictures with your family and friends. This is something you will never forget.
