Cynthia awoke with a start. She looked around quickly. Bill was laying on the bed, not sleeping but just resting.

"Useless meat sack." Cynthia thought about her body. "Can't believe I fell asleep."

She then realized she didn't have her glasses and looked around, picking them up from the table.

"Is it just me or does it keep hitting anybody that Bill Cipher is sleeping down the hall." Max said while getting breakfast.

"Yep." Alex said

"About every ten minutes or so." Sam said.

Cynthia stood just around the corner from the kitchen, hesitating to enter.

"Well what are we going to do about it? Like can we even let him stay here?" Alex said. "This has to be against some rule or something."

"So was saving him, we're in a gray area." Sam said. "And let's hope we don't fall into the black."

"Hey they were the ones who gave us the mission." Max said. "It's not like we can get in trouble for doing the mission they gave us."

Sam shrugged. "It's all a game of politics, and if things go south we're their scape goats."

"Great." Alex said sarcastically.

"And that's why I've never wanted to work for an organization." Said Cynthia, walking in. "Well that and they probably wouldn't let me in."

"How do you even have such impeccable timing?" Max asked.

"I literally have no idea." Cynthia said looking almost scared by her own timing. "Like my timings never been this perfect and now it's happened twice in 24 hours."

"Or you're just being a drama queen." Bill said, entering.

Again, timing.

"Oh please, if I'm dramatic enough to be a queen then you're dramatic enough to be a god." Cynthia retorted.

And he's going to take that as a compliment, isn't he?

"Why thank you." Bill said with a mock bow.

"Of course you take it as a compliment." Cynthia said looking exasperated.

"And why would I not? For your have praised me as a god!" Bill said dramatically.

"Oh please, if rather go sing praises to time baby." Cynthia responded.

"I really hate that guy." Sam said.

"Same." Everyone else said, relatively at the same time.

"Seriously." Alex said referring to their timing.

"I don't know I've just given up." Cynthia replied.

"So..." Max started after an awkward while of silence. "Are you hungry?"

"Uh, yeah, sure. If you just have like cereal or something..." Cynthia said.

"Yeah sure." Max said, leading Cynthia over to the pantry.

Cynthia picked out a cereal and got a bowl and almond milk. She then sat their quietly eating her cereal and avoiding their glances.

"What are you supposed to say to two people you barely know? Not to mention when one of them is top ten most wanted?"  Sam thought.

"Well," Cynthia said after she had finished her cereal. "This has been great but I, er, we, should be going.

"Yes but before I go would anyone like some deer tee-" Bill said.
