Gravity Falls Demon Hunters

Suicide mission

Alex, Max, and Sam got to headquarters around eleven. They scanned their ID's to get in.

They went to the office of Morgan Phicre, the leader of that branch. Normally they wouldn't go to the head but they weren't sure who knew of their mission.

"Come in." Ms. Phicre said when they knocked.

She was a normal sized woman with dark brown hair in her early 40's.

They entered hesitantly. Ms. Phicre sat behind a large glass desk looking at her computer screen, she looked up as they entered and I look of shock crossed her face.

She stood up and crossed the room quickly hugging all of them.

"Uh..." Max said.

"Sorry." Ms. Phicre said backing up. "It's just that, you're alive."

They looked at each other confused.

"Please take a seat." Ms. Phicre said sitting back down. "To be honest your mission was considered a bit of a suicide mission. We didn't know anything about Andrea Hearts or how powerful she was."

The three glanced at each other though none of them seemed angry only surprised.

"Well um yes, we came here because we just thought you'd want to know what happened seeing the situation as it was." Sam said.

"Uh yes yes tell me what happened." Ms. Phicre said.

"Well we got there and looked for her stronghold." Sam said.

"It ended up being a mansion with a wrought iron heart on the fence." Alex added.

"Andrea and Bill were sitting in a room, Bill was tied to a chair. Andrea looked human and Bill seemed to have been forced into a human form." Max said. "Oh and Andrea's fire was purple."

Ms. Phicre listened intently.

"Our weapons did work against her but we also had help. We met a halfling who was, in their words "was saving Bill though they would rather not"." Sam said.

"A halfling? What was their name?" Ms. Phicre asked.

Though there were a few, the agency didn't run across many and liked to make a note of the ones they met.

"Uh Seth, I think. They didn't give a last name." Alex said, lying on the spot.

Max glanced at her but didn't say anything.

"Well what did he do?" Ms. Phicre asked.

"Actually they didn't use any of their powers which was kind of strange but they snuck up on Andrea as we were fighting her and threw a powder in her eyes buying us time." Sam said.

"And so your mission was successful then?" Ms. Phicre asked.

"Yes." Alex said.

"Okay,  thank you. I'm glad you're all okay." Ms. Phicre said. "When you write your report send it to Alec Bane."

"Yes ma'am." Sam said.

They then stood and left. When they were far away from the building Max turned to Alex.

"How come you lied about Cynthia?" Max asked.

Alex shrugged sheepishly. "Well, she wasn't really causing trouble and she doesn't really seem like the type who'd want to be known."

"Yeah because when you hang out with Bill Cipher you're really.on the straight and arrow." Sam said. "But, you're probably right and she doesn't seem much for world domination."
