When Alex, Max, and Sam arrived, Cynthia was already there.

Charlie's was a relatively small family owned restaurant and a local favorite.

Cynthia sat at the counter drinking a soda. She looked over her shoulder as they walked in though she didn't get up.

"Sorry about your house." Cynthia said.

"Thanks." Max said awkwardly.

Cynthia quickly finished her soda then got up.

"Well would you like to go now?" Cynthia asked.

"Uh, yeah sure." Sam said.

They all followed Cynthia out.

"I think they're scared of me." Cynthia thought with a smirk. "Wait... I don't like them bring scared of me?"

Cynthia usually enjoyed when people were scared of her but it didn't feel right for them to be scared,

Some of Bill's 'friends' made fun of Cynthia when she was younger but by the time weirdmageddon came around none of them would think of pissing her off.

Cynthia looked back at them and smiled sincerely.

"My house is a good deal away so we're going to have to take a bus." Cynthia said. "I already have the tickets."

"Wait if you had to take a bus how did you get here?" Sam asked.

"Oh well I flew but I can't fly fast enough that it would be effective with other people and Hearts is watching the nightmare realm like a hawk so it's more or less impossible to slide through there." Cynthia explained. "Sorry." She added as she thought she had spoken to much.

"Nothing to apologize for." Max said.

Cynthia gave a small smile. "Well, um Shall we hear to the bus station then?"

"Yeah." Alex said.

They walked to the bus stop that want to far as the bus soon arrived after them.

"We've got about... four hours, we get off in Schuylerville." Cynthia told them.

Cynthia had her phone and ear buds on her which she put in almost right away.

"Wait does this mean we're going to be sharing a house with Bill Cipher again?" Max said to Alex and Sam.

"I guess." Sam said.

Alex shook her head with a mischevious smile "We are so going to get in trouble for this."

About a half hour into the ride Cynthia dozed off. Some how she managed to look peaceful and annoyed at the same time, with her arms crossed but her mouth slack and her head hanging down.

"That cannot be comfortable." Alex observed.

"It must be witch craft, no one can sleep with their head just hanging like that." Max said.

Sam snorted. "There's actually a chance it is witch craft."

The bus ride was uneventful though the bus did have Internet which was nice.

Cynthia woke up about five minutes before they reached their stop though no one noticed.

"Well, shall we go then?" Cynthia said when the bus stopped.

"What the-" Max said. "I didn't know it was possible to wake up quietly."

"Thanks." Cynthia said, taking it as a compliment though still feeling awkward.
