I Think I Love You

I walked into the principals office execting the queen of all ners to be my guide but it didn't matter, it was a new school. I'll make the best of these last 2 months of high school. As the secretary brought me to the door I straightened my Asking Alexandria shirt and turned the knob.

"knock knock." I said

"Ah yes Mitchel. Come on in." He seemed a tad bit excited haha 

As I opened the door fully and walked in I noticed the girl in the chair in front of me. She looked pretty decent. She seems like she isn't the type to straighten the life out of her hair so, I'm gunna guess she has a guy friend. I slid into the chair on left, she was pretty. 

"Ms. Carol, meet Mitchel Thomas." the principle said to her gesturing towards me.

I put my hand out to her, "Please, call me Mitch." She looked at me confused for a second then she noticed my hand and took it with hers. I was making her nervous, winning! She tried to pull her hand away but I held tighter, "What's your first name?"

"Jennifer......" she said.

"Nice to meet you Jenn."

"Ok Ms. Carol you'll be Mr. Thomas' guide, tutor, and go to, from now until graduation 2 months from now. You're success is dependant upon his own. You are dismissed." She stood up and her phone slipped off of her book.

"I''ll get it. Don't worry." I told her

"Uhh thank you..."

Just as I was handind it to her she got a text. Wow. Seems like she has friends haha. I walked ahead of her to hold the door opened.

"Thanks again." She told me.

"You're welcome"

She showed me the whole school. I didn't think she was gunna. My legs hurt so bad. When we were getting close to my class she finally started laughing at my jokes.

"Jennybean! Where've you been I missed you 2nd period?" Alright who the hell calls her Jennybean? We turned around at the same time only to see some jock looking guy walking towards her with a smile on his face. Boyfriend? Can't be.

"I've been with this guy right here" she says, pointing to me with her thumb.

"Sup?" he says to me. Doesn't seem very interested. I leaned back slightly and waved.

"This gorgeous woman was just showing me around." I said, trying to hide the  smug look on my face.

"Well Jake see ya around ok?" she says cutting off the mini show down between us. She turned around before I did to walk away so I saluted to him and followed behind her.

"Yeah ok. I'm still taking you home right?" He yelled.

"Duuuuuuuuh!" she yells behind her. I guess we're at my class since she stopped right in front of the door.

"Cya after school Jenn" I tell her. She looked so confused. "I'm taking you for ice cream, you deserve it. You put up with me for 2 whole hours."

"Oh haha yeah. I'll just let Jake know that I'm hanging with you later." She tells me just as she turns to leave I see Jake coming my way.

"Don't worry I'll tell him" I tell her as Jake walks past me and into the class. This should be interesting.

"Ok class take your seats." the teacher told everyone. I took  that as my cue to lean against the door frame. "And you are?" 

"Mitchel Thomas and you are?" I said back.

"Mr. Gordon, if you wouldn't mind. There's plenty of empty seats. pick one." I scanned the room and noticed the way some of the girls hinting at the empty seat beside them, I on the other hand sat right next to Jake.

"What's up man?" 

"Sup?" he said back to me with no emotion whatsoever. Well I guess I'll tell him now.

"Hey uhh Jenn and I are gunna go for ice cream later, you in?" Can't say I'm not trying to be nice to the kid. He just looked straight ahead for a while almost like he didn't hear me. Then just as the teacher was about to start the lecture he wants to speak up.

"Nah. I have a date. You guys have fun." He pulls out his phone and starts texting. No doubt he was texting Jennifer. His facial expression gave it away. He didn't say another word for the rest of class.

After a long 40 minutes  the bell had finally rang and I spotted Jenn. It was 5th period so the seniors could leave. I love this school.

"Hey Jake, can I talk to you for a sec?" Jenn said as she put up her index finger signaling for me to wait.

" Yeah sure, give me a sec." he said as he got up and grabbed his stuff. I walked out of the room and leaned against the lockers. When their little pow wow was over she came walking over to me, "let's go" 

"Alrighty! I'm driving." I tell her as we walk down the hallway together.

There's something about this girl..........
